V-Twin Thrills: SUZUKI SV650 Custom
Webike's Opinion
Here is a "SUZUKI SV650" custom by Webike community user "NAINAI". The owner was looking for a lighter bike as he felt his physical strength declining with age, and decided to buy this SV650, attracted by its V-twin engine. Just as intended, the bike is easy to maneuver, offers great fuel efficiency, and according to the owner, "the heartbeat-like sound when opening the throttle is addictive. I enjoy the changing character of the V-twin engine through the different rev ranges."
The exhaust is a WR'S ST-OVAL Type Slip-On Exhaust. It boosts the deep bass sound, enhancing the appeal of the V-twin engine. The sound quality from the hexagonal titanium oval silencer is a balance of the V-twin's sharpness and a smooth, pleasant tone, giving you a comfortable sound. Not satisfied with the stock brake pads, the owner immediately replaced them with DAYTONA Golden Pad Brake Pads. In terms of performance, they offer solid stopping power with the amount of grip you apply, and they are easy to control and user-friendly. To protect the tank, the owner applied a PRO GRIP Tank Pad #5008. The tank pad, with its gradient design, not only protects the tank from damage but also adds a stylish touch that enhances the bike’s appearance.
One of the owner’s favorite modifications, which he regrets not doing sooner, is the NITRON Rear Suspension. He comments that, "the rear tire's feedback is very clear, providing a sense of security and also comfort to my lower back." The steps are changed to BABYFACE Rearsets. The firm feeling when shifting, compared to the stock setup, is something you won't be able to go back from once you've experienced it. This is a product where the importance of machining precision and material quality becomes evident.
