Exploring the Modifications of a Limited Edition: Suzuki GSX-R1000 Custom by TG RUN
TG RUN's GSX-R1000
This bike was modified by Technical Garage RUN at the request of the owner, who admires the limited edition GSX-R1000 L3Z 2013 model.
"For this reason, the exterior of the GSX-R remains stock, but I find it to be a beautifully maintained bike. It is said that the best GSX-R is one from that era, but if you have a favorite model, you can enhance your enjoyment by selecting it as a base and upgrading it to a higher quality. Taking the owner's preferences into consideration, our shop focused on reducing weight and improving the ease of handling the bike, as the owner mainly uses it for touring. We paid special attention to the controls and suspension, enhancing the quality of the touch," said the representative of Technical Garage RUN. The use of Ohlins, Brembo, and MARCHESINI brand parts is a standard at the shop. However, brand-name parts do not necessarily guarantee high quality. The parts must be reliable and tailored to the rider's thoughts, movements, and riding style without any lag or difference. True quality comes from setting up these parts based on a thorough understanding of how the rider utilizes the bike.
Handle
The base model is the GSX-R1000L3Z, a 2013 GSX-R limited edition commemorating the production of a total of 1 million GSX-Rs, and the top bridge displays the limited serial number of 1985.
The front side brake master cylinder is made by Brembo, and the pivot pin is combined with TG-RUN's original titanium. The clutch holder is by GALE SPEED, which also enhances the operating feel.
Bodyworks
The exterior is L3Z stock, including the red air scoops. The carbon trim and super-coated windshield are by Magical Racing.
Chassis
The three-dimensionally molded carbon fender eliminator kit is made by Magical Racing. These parts also contribute to the high quality and weight reduction.
The step kit is made by AGRAS. It is expected to improve the hold with the heel and increase the foot grip on the bars.
The front fork has been replaced with an upside-down Ohlins type. The brakes are comprised of Brembo Billet Racing 4-piston calipers and Sunstar discs.
The rear shock is an Ohlins TTX, and the swingarm is also equipped with a K Factory stand hook. The drive chain is made by RK.
The front and rear wheels are MARCHESINI M7RS, and the rear brakes are Brembo Billet Racing 4P + Sunstar discs. All bolts are replaced with βTITANIUM.
