Lafs' Z1000

This Z1000, with its matte black body, was customized by Lafs, a dry carbon parts supplier. The appearance is made even more intrepid by the abundant use of carbon parts in various parts. The exterior parts are twill weave type from "CARBONY", a brand of dry carbon parts they handles. The surface is matte, but a new manufacturing method is also incorporated. The product lineup includes an upper cowl, tail cowl, shroud, and fenders, and the addition of the glossy carbon texture to the linear, futuristic design of the Z1000 creates a more powerful style.

In addition, while the base color is black, the incorporation of gold in the wheels and other parts also showcases the bike's presence as a custom bike. The wheels are forged aluminum Piega wheels by OZ Racing, which not only look great, but also improve athletic performance by reducing weight under the springs. NANKANG "SPORTIAC" tires were used for the test. The silencer is by Akrapovic, and the corresponding ECU data has been updated.

Bodyworks

The upper cowl, fork guard, shrouds, and other front exterior parts are all replaced with Lafs dry carbon parts. This gives the bike an even more intrepid appearance and greatly improves the quality feel.

Engine covers are mounted on both sides of the crankcase to protect it in the event of a tip-over. The billet portion adds accent to the engine area. The under cowl follows the shape of the stock cowl.

Mesh applied to the intake part of the shroud to create a mechanical feel. The contrast between the twill weave carbon pattern and the metal mesh further enhances the quality.

The front fenders and fork guards are composed of multiple parts, but they are fitted without gaps. The quality and precision of these parts are, of course, extremely high.

The rear inner fender is glossy. It is an integrated type with the chain guard, and metal mesh is added to the slit as well as the shroud to accentuate it.

Intake & Exhaust

Akrapovic full exhaust system. By not only replacing the parts but also rewriting the corresponding map data, the full potential of the exhaust is extracted.

Chassis

For the wheels, forged aluminum wheels by OZ Racing were used. Since the body color is black, bright and shiny wheels are used to avoid giving too dark an impression.

Forged aluminum wheels reduce unsprung weight and dramatically improve riding performance. The wheels are decorated with the original logo for added individuality. Only the brake hoses are changed.
