BULL DOCK's Z1(900 SUPER4)

With its Candy Orange pattern coloring, slightly raised headlight, and elongated tail cowl, it is plain to see that this bike is a Z1. While keeping that classic look, it is equipped with a 43mm inner tube, a larger diameter front fork, a rear shock with reservoir tank, and a solid square swingarm. Some other modifications include front and rear carbon fenders, forged wheels, radial-mount front calipers, and master cylinders, to name a few, but nothing is out of place or out of balance. The engine has been souped up to 1200cc with forged pistons, a new cam, and a cross transmission (5-speed), and you'll find that all of these parts come together perfectly.

This bike is one of BULL DOCK's complete custom GT-M models. The great balance you see from the exterior, with nothing out of place, is also apparent in the practical aspects of the bike, as it is easy to handle and runs in a high quality manner. It is light both when pushed and when ridden. It may be hard to imagine, given the fact that it is based on a bike originally built 50 years ago, but it's true. The frame modification, parts selection, and settings were all done as usual, according to the representative of BULL DOCK, but we are impressed that their 'as usual' goes this far for any model. The wheel dimensions were optimized from 19/18 inch to 17 inch front and rear. It is also equipped with modern radial tires, even though it was designed for tires from 50 years ago, and is able to ride naturally with no issues in today's environment. The Z's endless appeal is due in no small part to the existence of such amazing modern customs.

Handle

The cockpit reflects the GT-M's characteristic of a natural look despite being fully customized. The gauges are stock with white panels, and Yoshimura Progress gauges have been added. The left and right master cylinders are Brembo RCS, and the mirrors are Magical Racing NK-1 Mirror Type 6.

Bodyworks

The fuel tank, finished in a Candy Orange color reminiscent of the classic Z1, is made of aluminum and is McCoy brand. It is more lightweight and there are no worries about internal rust.

The seat is McCoy Supreme, which is comfortable and offers great maneuverability. Underneath the seat is an ETC unit, and you can see that even the parts you don't normally look at are beautifully finished.

Engine

The souped-up 1200cc engine (up from stock 903cc) is equipped with forged pistons made by Pistal Racing, and the original 5-speed cross transmission is used for greatly improved operation and a sense of security. The outboard and offset sprockets ensure a proper chainline and reduce the burden on the transmission.

The carburetor is an FCR φ35mm with a short funnel. BULL DOCK offers a high degree of freedom in selecting the type and bore size, and they will fully set up the carburetor after completion.

Chassis

The front forks are made by Nitron with a diameter of 43mm, and the brakes are a combination of Brembo GP4-RS calipers + Sunstar discs/McCoy floating pins.

The rear brakes are Brembo CNC 2-piston calipers + Sunstar discs. The exhaust is an all titanium Win McCoy full exhaust.

The rear shocks are Nitron Stealth Twin. The swingarm is 7N01 aluminum, pentagonal reinforced, and made by McCoy. The wheels are forged aluminum, and are fitted with 3.50-17/6.00-17 size Lavorante Legenda (stock size: 1.85-19/2.15-18), which you can see match well with the Z's style.
