Cool Meets Kawaii: KAWASAKI KSR110 Custom
Webike's Opinion
Here is a "KAWASAKI KSR110" custom by Webike community user "junk_rider". The owner is such a fan of the KSR110 that he owns two of them. He calls it a "cool and cute mini bike" that’s perfect for learning the basics of customizing. He really had his heart set on getting this color scheme with a centrifugal clutch, and after some searching, he says he lucked out and found what he calls a "rare find in incredible condition.” That said, the tank graphics are just stickers applied over the standard red-and-white tank, so he has to be extra careful with them. What makes things even trickier is that there are no replacement graphics available—something he sees as a major downside. The "KSR" logo stickers were in really bad shape, so he ended up tracing and recreating them himself using his computer.
As for the exhaust, he’s installed a YAMAMOTO Low-Mount Full Exhaust System. It has an outstanding finish, and the welds are beautifully done. The sound is quiet yet refined—almost like a musical instrument, he says. It feels noticeably quicker in acceleration compared to stock, with no drop in low-end torque.
The rear end of the bike has been streamlined with an ACTIVE Motard Tail Kit, which gives it a clean, stylish look by shaving off unnecessary parts. The kit also includes a taillight and is reasonably priced, which makes it even more appealing. One part he liked so much that he installed it on both of his KSRs is the A-TECH Rear Fender. It stands out for its high-quality design and finish.
Another eye-catching detail on the engine is the SP Takegawa Generator Plate—an aluminum billet part with orange anodizing and a laser-etched TAKEGAWA logo. Installation is as simple as replacing the stock plate with it. Looking ahead, the owner is planning to build it into a fun and easygoing bike without eliminating the automatic centrifugal clutch.
