The owner wanted to convert the original chain to a 420 with different sprockets. Although I have not used Sunstar for a long time, the owner wanted to use this brand. Finding the right sprocket to fit this model of bike was pretty easy by just searching for Monkey 125 and narrowing it down to category of front sprockets. Easy peasy. The price from Webike was really good value so I purchased 2 of these sprockets. The price for both was just about the same price as a factory Honda OEM one. Anyway, along with a few other parts for other bikes, I got them all shipped using EMS, my favourite courier. In just 5 days the order arrived. All the parts were carefully packaged and wrapped accordingly. These 2 front sprockets were wrapped together as they are a little heavier than the other parts. Upon arrival, I carefully checked each sprocket and found that they were extremely well made and found no faults with either of them. We chose the 17 tooth version which would work well with the gearing of this Monkey 125. The machine work on these sprockets is excellent and well on par with any other branded ones. Fitting was straight forward, the same with any other front sprocket. Just make sure you torque to the correct amount according to the owners manual and you will have no issues. The Sprocket is excellent quality! Also the 17 tooth count is a perfect upgrade for the W650... Compared to the stock 15 tooth sprocket, the bike can now run up to 110kph with no vibration and the engine sound like its very relaxed! Highly recommended!
