I love the look of it, it's awesome! The volume is quite loud with the Standard Equipment Baffle. I was so happy with the sound that I rode with it for a while, but then I started to feel that it was too loud, so I replaced it with a KIJIMA ordinary silencer. The 60 pie Silencer fits the TWINSLASH just fine! I added an extra roll of Glass Wool and installed it to get the ideal volume!
Total waste of money. Vance & Hines will not refund money for this piece of cheap steel. West Coast crooks. Lasted 2 months, then tossed in trash. Bought an Arrow and so happy with it!View Detail
Unfortunately, I bought it.the exhaust was already corroded upon delivery!the shipment was very poorly secured for transport.A rust-colored fluid is leaking from the end exhaust connection.the exhaust is too loud in certain engine speed ranges, it is poorly tuned. The manufacturer's response is simply ridiculous:"1.As the exhaust is heat cycled, the metal will expand and contract. So it will have a slight leak when the exhaust is brand new. Over time this will seal itself with carbon build up and the metal will expand/contract together.2.The inside of the pipe is not ceramic coated, as this would discolor and flake anyways. The surface rust is nothing to worry about. Any loose surface rust will blow out of the exhaust as you ride."The leak continued. The factory exhaust is installed exactly the same, and there is no leakage or corrosion.I'm sure that in a few thousand kilometers the entire rear of the bike will be covered in rusty dust.View Detail
* About quality and texture, Beautiful brushed stainless steel finish header pipe and muffler with a black CNC machined billet end cap.* About the feeling of use, This slip on exhaust has a deep throaty note while still retaining the OEM Honda emission complaint portion of the header pipe.* Products to buy together, An aftermarket air intake will definitely want to be purchased along with an exhaust, Kitaco have a great one on offer at the best price around.* Difficulty of installation, Being just a slip on exhaust and not a full exhaust system does make the Vance & Hines easier to install. The process was completed in 60 minutes with little difficultly.* Cost performance and comparison with other products, The Vance & Hines slip on exhaust is much more expensive then other slip on and comes at even a higher cost then some full exhaust system which is disappointing but it is still definitely worth the money for the quality finish and additional chassic cover included.* About shipping and packaging, I am happy to wait 6 weeks on average for my parts to arrive in Sydney Australia via Webike's sea freight which comes with tracking and insurance so I know I'm covered in case something was to go wrong but with there outstanding bubble wrapping and boxing there have been no problems.* Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing, If you want a performance exhaust to get the most out of your engine then this is not the exhaust for you but if you want a cool lookng exhaust that sounds mean and stays emission complaint then give it a try. Use the product reviews to assist in making a decision on your purchase.View Detail
Remove the Normal muffler, remove the standard Gasket from the Exhaust pipe, and install Vance's Exhaust System, but since the diameter of the Exhaust pipe and Slip-on Silencer are almost the same and it fits Exactly, the Gasket is not necessary. It is not necessary. I was a little worried, so I just applied Liquid Gasket and inserted it. Because the collar of the attachment did not enter inside when I stopped it with Bolt of the Tandem Footpeg, I put the Washer of Rubber on the footpeg side, put the collar on the outside, and fixed it with Screw. I took it for a test drive and it sounded great! (*^-^*) However, because my house is in a residential area, there was a family objection, and I put the Inner silencer of DAYTONA on the junction of the exhaust pipe and Slip-on Silencer, and finally settled on a mild sound.View Detail
The sound is perfect; it's a two-cylinder, so it's not to everyone's taste, but personally I think it's good. It sounds good with or without the Baffle. However, the volume of the Baffle removed is stupid itself, just pull out the Bolt1 pc, you can easily turn into 250 Revchin Kids. Even with Baffle on, it's annoying in its own way. (It's a little louder than Nasart.) But it's just about acceptable. I'm going to quit the Baffle that came with it and replace it with a more effective Baffle from another Manufacturer and ride it proudly. The look is very Massive and makes the Motorcycle look stronger. This is a good thing for me as I have a custom Fire. I still think a round GP tube is better for Full Cowl. This is also a preference, though. Also, if you look at it from above, it looks a bit like YOSHIMURA.View Detail
?attachment The CBR650R is mounted at the same position angle as the NORMAL. However, when the handlebar was cut to the Left lock, it interfered with the interior cover next to the Meter, so the interior cover was cut away. I also purchased a 45° angled banjo adapter for the mesh hose to accommodate the tension of the mesh hose. ・NORMAL (Reserve integrated horizontal master) Impressions of No complaints on public roads. Familiar feel and very easy to handle. However, when the brake is set to "hard brake," the rate of increase in braking force relative to the input seems to decrease, and the brake becomes more forceful. Radipon (Reserve separate body portrait master) Impressions of It was totally different from what I expected, my expectation was that it would feel like a Rear brake… It is really a mild and easy-to-handle radipon. On public roads, it feels like NORMAL! I wonder if it's because NORMAL is the same NISSIN? But I felt the radipon effect from Breaking a little stronger, and It can be hung up to a hard brake without effort. I felt trust that this could stop.View Detail
