It looks very sturdy. The only thing I'm concerned about is that the 2020 and up models with the blinker under the tail lamp will have the wiring exposed, so you might want to get creative. I used a Bellows type protection tube. Also, I think it was a result of the consideration not to destroy the design, but I thought it would be better to devise a way to load a large bag because the carrier is too small.
