I was having issues easily finding neutral and replacing this part solved the problem
About quality and texture - The clutch outer from Honda is made from aluminium casting and steel machining that are secured together, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - I was having issues easily finding neutral and replacing this part solved the problem. The cause was the grooves that wear into the aluminium between the fingers where the clutch disks lay.Products to buy together - A key product to buy together with the clutch outer for me was new clutch disks, there are many options available but I thought the reinforced 6 clutch disk kit Kitaco sell was ideal for my engine setup and it has also replaced other worn aluminium parts in the clutch mechanism.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the clutch outer is a advanced task that took 1.5 hours to complete. Mechanical aptitude, the use of special tools and the knowledge of disassembling the engine is required to secure the clutch outer to the transmission main shaft.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Honda sell to be very reasonable when compared to what some of the other companies sell their products for but this is not the case with the clutch outer as the pricing seems excessive.About shipping and packaging - With there being a significant cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the clutch outer, I chose sea freight to save some money as the part was not required immediately. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Webike Japan is the first place I look to for all my motorcycle needs. From service parts to performance products and even motorcycle gear and apparel, Webike always seem to satisfy my needs in regards to availability and pricing.
About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of clutch outer housing from Honda, with the outer housing cast from aluminium it also includes a steel drive gear attached to the aft side.About the feeling of use: A part that will service many tens of thousands of kilometers when assembled correctly with it's mating part, the clutch pack assembly.Products to buy together: Since you will have the clutch apart for the replacement of the clutch outer housing then a new set of clutch disks and clutch plates would also be desirable to purchase along side the clutch outer housing if excess wear is found.Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about 1 hours, remove the right crankcase cover to be able to access the clutch assemble and remove it as a whole. Once this is removed the clutch outer housing can be swapped by sliding it off the splined shaft and then reverse the process to complete the install. A little difficult to do.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are receiving reliable Honda quality at an affordable price for your repairs as compared to a complete clutch kits from SP Takegawa which are extremely expensive.About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght was my perferred method of shipping due to the lower cost but currently unavailable due to Japan Post. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: The Webike OEM parts section will be most helpful for sourcing other parts needed for your repairs.View Detail
About quality and texture, I can confirm that the quality is great and that the material used is steel plate that has been shaped and welded. About the feeling of use, One oil separator plate is needed for the new engine that I am building from newly purchased parts from Honda. It has done its job sitting below the clutch to separator the oil in the right crankcase half. Products to buy together, To be able to complete a new engine build many newly purchased parts are required to be added to your cart and the one to purchase together to complete the installation of the oil separator plate is the 6x16 flanged bolts. Difficulty of installation, I can say the fitment of the oil separator plate for my installation was very easy due to already having access as the crankcase half is new and the process is explained in the service manual which is to position when installing the clutch and secure with the flanged bolts. Cost performance and comparison with other products, The pricing of this product is great. You receive an original Honda oil separator plate that will be suitable for engine builds and repairs and I do not see this being offered any elsewhere. About shipping and packaging, My order was shipped within 24 hours of the product being in stock and I received a few emails advising me of the status up until the order was dispatched. The order arrived within the estimated date range and was extremely well packaged. I found the link supplied to track my order very useful while I was waiting for the order to land in the country. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing, I have no concerns or cautions when purchasing from Webike. I cannot recommend Webike enough for the majority of your biking needs. They not only sell aftermarket parts and bike gear but also OEM parts for your repairs and servicing needs.View Detail
About quality and texture - The oil filter cover gasket from Honda is a metal reinforced paper gasket, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - No noticeable oil leak from the old gasket but since the oil filter cover had been removed and installed a few times I thought it best to replace the gasket this time around.Products to buy together - A key product to purchase when carrying out general maintenance on the engine is a new gasket for the clutch cover as this cover is removed quite regularly for access to clean the oil filter rotor and filter screen.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the oil filter cover gasket is an simple task that took 0.1 of an hour to complete. Some mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is required to secure the between the oil filter and it's cover, note the orientation of the gasket for correct installation.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Honda sell to be very reasonable when compared to what some of the other companies sell their products for and the oil filter cover gasket is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the oil filter cover gasket, I chose EMS for an earlier arrive date. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Webike Japan is the first place I look to for all my motorcycle needs. About quality and texture - The clutch pressure plate from Honda is made from aluminium and cast into shape, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - For the low price, I decided to modify a new part and retain my original. I was interested in upgrading my clutch lifter plate from a three bolt to a six bolt and needed a clutch pressure plate with all six posts drilled and tapped to accept the clutch lifter plate. Has worked out well.Products to buy together - A key product to buy together with the clutch pressure plate for my upgrade was the six bolt clutch lifter plate but there are many other parts to also upgrade, the main being the clutch springs.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the clutch pressure plate is a advanced task that took 1.5 hours to complete. Mechanical aptitude, the use of special tools and the knowledge of disassembling the engine is required to secure the clutch once assembled to the transmission main shaft.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Honda sell to be very reasonable when compared to what some of the other companies sell their products for and the clutch pressure plate is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the clutch pressure plate, I chose EMS for an earlier arrival date. About quality and texture - The oil filter rotor from Honda is made from steel and weighs in at one kilogram, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - Not a part that most people would need to purchase, however it you are looking for less weight on the crankshaft this can be easily machined down to half it's weight equalling five hundred grams.Products to buy together - A key product to buy together with the oil filter rotor for me was a forth bearing support from SP Takegawa. This allowed me to confidently ride the Grom hard without the fear of breaking the crankshaft.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the oil filter rotoris a intermediate task that took 1.0 hour to complete. Mechanical aptitude, the use of special tools and the knowledge of disassembling the engine is required to secure the oil filter rotor to the cranksshaft.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Honda sell to be very reasonable when compared to what some of the other companies sell their products for and the oil filter rotor is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the oil filter rotor, I chose EMS for an earlier arrive date. About quality and texture, I can confirm that the quality is great and that the material used is formed metal with a paper gasket sheet that is stamped out to form its shape.About the feeling of use, One oil filter gasket was needed for the new engine that I am building from newly purchased part from Honda. It has done its job in sealing between the oil filter rotor and its cover. Serves the same purpose as the original gasket with no noticeable difference.Products to buy together, To be able to complete a new engine build many newly purchased parts are required to be added to your cart but the most important to go with the oil filter gasket is the aluminum sealing washer for the oil drain plug as they tend to be removed at the same time when servicing the engine oil.Difficulty of installation, I can say the fitment of the oil filter gasket for my installation was average due to the access required to the oil filter rotor but the process is explained in the service manual about the orientation of the gasket and torque value.Cost performance and comparison with other products, The pricing of this product is great. You receive an original Honda gasket that will be suitable for most engine builds and repairs and and I do not see this being offered any cheaper elsewhere.About shipping and packaging, My order was shipped within 24 hours of the product being in stock and I received a few emails advising me of the status up until the order was dispatched. About quality and texture - The front hollow axle shaft from Kitaco is made from chromoly steel with precision machining and a black oxide surface finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - The black finished axle looks wonderful against the black lower fork legs. Fitting this to the front of the Monkey 125 is more noticeable handling wise then when fitting one to the rear. Not something I considered necessary in the past but as I continue to work on the Honda Monkey 125 I find it best to replace the cheaper parts as I am performing scheduled maintenance in that area.Products to buy together - While performing maintenance on the brakes and tires, I considered it the perfect opportunity to also replace the front axle collars with a lighter option ftom Kitaco.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the front axle is a simple task that took 0.5 of an hour to complete. Some mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is what is required to remove weight fron the front wheel and swap the original axle with a greased hollow axle shaft.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Kitaco sell to great value when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the front axle is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the front axle, I chose EMS for an earlier arrive date. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Webike Japan is the first place I look to for all my motorcycle needs. More proportional and appropriately styled for a road orientated Honda Monkey 125. A real classic looking part.Products to buy together - A key product to purchase to fill the large void above the fender and add appropriate styling to the front of the Monkey 125 is a vintage style chrome horn from Daytona. That maintains all the features of the original horn but improves the look.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the down fender bracket is a simple task that took 0.6 of an hour to complete. I have tried to highlight this in my photo.About the feeling of use - The OEM lever set are fine but I was looking for a higher quality lever set without going to an adjustable lever set, that just does not suit the styling of my Monkey 125. The short reach is a little different but still fine and now the lever set matches the other high quality parts I have on my Monkey.Products to buy together - While removing the clutch cable to fit the lever set, I considered it the ideal time to also fit the SP Takegawa fat cable adjuster, that is another high quality billet aluminum part and allowed me to remove the OEM adjuster and rubber cover for a much cleaner look.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the short reach lever set is a simple task that took 0.5 of an hour to complete.
