Same quality as the OEM exhaust just with a better sound and styled muffler
About quality and texture - The scrambler exhaust from SP Takegawa is made from mild steel with a matte black painted finish and stainless steel with a polished finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - Same quality as the OEM exhaust just with a better sound and styled muffler. Only a small change from the OEM Honda Monkey 125 exhaust but perfect in every aspect especially with the exhaust sound at idle and low RPM riding in traffic.Products to buy together - A key product to purchase with the scrambler exhaust would be a high flow air filter panel to use with the OEM airbox, again allowing you to retain the OEM look.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the scrambler exhaust is a simple task that took 1 hour to complete. Some mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is what is required to resure the muffler to the frame and the exhaust pipe to the engine.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products SP Takegawa sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the scrambler exhaust is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being a significant cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the scrambler exhaust, I chose sea freight so I could put the saved money toward additional parts. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Webike Japan is the first place I look to for all my motorcycle needs. From service parts to performance products and even motorcycle gear and apparel, Webike always seem to satisfy my needs in regards to availability and pricing.
It is heavier than other tuning exhausts, but the sound is very attractive.I reordered the same product as before in order to get back in condition.View Detail
Great looking bad ass exhaust for the Monkey. Should be for Red monkey that's how it goes best in my opinion. Let the yellow monkeys roam with the Yoshimura. The sound is nice and deep. Is louder than the stock exhaust but not annoyingly loud. View Detail
Well made, well packaged. Beautifully crafted. Easy to install. Most difficult part was just to remove the rubber grommets for mounting bolts. Nice that it includes gaskets. Nice polished stainless steel. View Detail
This is by far the best looking exhaust for a honda monkey, it also sounds awesome. Not too loud and not too quiet. Installation is super easy and not time consuming. View Detail
I only gave this 5 stars because I can't give 25 stars! I waited and waited for this exhaust to be available. I watched the Webike site every day for it to be in stock. Finally it was available. I ordered it and it arrived within 1 week. I think this Scrambler exhaust is the perfect exhaust for the Monkey. It looks great and it is louder than stock, but not too loud. It's perfect. I love it!View Detail
About quality and texture - The stock look style sports exhaust from SP Takegawa is made from mild steel with a matte black painted finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - Same look and quality as the OEM exhaust just with a better sound. I find the overall look of the Honda Monkey 125 to be perfect and didn't want to change that, so this is the exhaust to get if you just want to be able to hear the engine at idle and low RPM riding in traffic.Products to buy together - A key product to purchase with the stock look style sports exhaust would be a high flow air filter panel to use with the OEM airbox, again allowing you to retain the OEM look.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the stock look style sports exhaust is a simple task that took 1 hour to complete. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Webike Japan is the first place I look to for all my motorcycle needs. Part arrived earlier than promised and quality is very good. Had seen a few reviews stating that mounting flange on cylinder head was too thin and although it is thinner than OEM flange it tightened down properly with no flexing. Fit was good with the stock heat shields fitting perfectly and it does sound much better than stock without being to loud or harsh under acceleration. Did a lot of looking before deciding on this system and and am very happy with it.View Detail
Overall a very nice system, and decently cheap if you need a replacement. It's got quite a deep grumble, and sounds louder on the bike than as a pedestrian. I'd say it's not quite obnoxious, but any louder and I don't think I would've liked it. Overall it looks subtle, a little flashy but not obtrusive. View Detail

About quality and texture - The rear rack from Honda is made from pieces of flat bar and steel tube with precision bents that are TIG welded together and plated with a chrome surface finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - I feel having a factory Honda rear rack on the Monkey 125 is the best choice for aesthetics but when it comes to practicality this is not the case due to it's small cargo bed dimensions but really it'd all about the look for me.Products to buy together - A key product to buy together with the rear rack for me was a fender eliminator as I wanted to add as much of the original Monkey Z50 styling back to the Monkey 125 and that started with removing unwanted black plastic parts.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the rear rack is a simple task that took 0.5 of an hour to complete. Some slight mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is all that is required to secure the rear rack to the frame.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Honda sell to be very reasonable when compared to what some of the other companies sell their products for and their rear rack is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being a no significant cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the rear rack, I chose sea EMS for an earlier arrival date as I was in no particular rush to install the product. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - For my location, when purchasing a special factory Honda product like this, it is best to do so from Webike Japan. There are a few local stores selling parts for the Monkey 125 but the product is not available.View Detail
About quality and texture - The clutch outer from Honda is made from aluminium casting and steel machining that are secured together, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - I was having issues easily finding neutral and replacing this part solved the problem. The cause was the grooves that wear into the aluminium between the fingers where the clutch disks lay.Products to buy together - A key product to buy together with the clutch outer for me was new clutch disks, there are many options available but I thought the reinforced 6 clutch disk kit Kitaco sell was ideal for my engine setup and it has also replaced other worn aluminium parts in the clutch mechanism.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the clutch outer is a advanced task that took 1.5 hours to complete. Mechanical aptitude, the use of special tools and the knowledge of disassembling the engine is required to secure the clutch outer to the transmission main shaft.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Honda sell to be very reasonable when compared to what some of the other companies sell their products for but this is not the case with the clutch outer as the pricing seems excessive.About shipping and packaging - With there being a significant cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the clutch outer, I chose sea freight to save some money as the part was not required immediately. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Webike Japan is the first place I look to for all my motorcycle needs. About quality and texture - The left cylinder head cover from Honda is made from cast aluminium and a black painted surface finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - The finned design of the left cylinder head cover from the Grom is preferred over the flat design of the left cylinder head cover from the Monkey 125 and the colour change gives the engine some character.Products to buy together - More black parts from the Grom engine like the timing cover and crank cover for the left side of the engine and the clutch cover protector for the right side of the engine would be key products to buy together with the left cylinder head cover to balance the colour change.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the left cylinder head cover is a simple task that took 0.1 of an hour to complete. Common sense and the use of basic hand tools is all that is required to secure the cover to the cylinder head after transferring over the O-ring. Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Honda sell to be very reasonable when compared to what some of the other companies sell their products for and the left cylinder head cover is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the left cylinder head cover, I chose EMS for an earlier arrival date. About quality and texture - The exhaust system gasket from Honda is made from a high temperature metal graphite, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - No noticeable exhaust leak from the old gasket but since the exhaust system had been installed and removed a few times I thought it best to replace the gasket this time around.Products to buy together - A key product to purchase when carrying out general maintenance on the engine is a new gasket for the clutch cover as this cover is removed quite regularly for access to clean the oil spinner and filter screen.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the exhaust system gasket is an simple task that took 0.1 of an hour to complete. Common sense is all that is required to secure the gasket into the exhaust port in the cylinder head.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Honda sell to be very reasonable when compared to what some of the other companies sell their products for and the exhaust system gasket is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the exhaust system gasket, I chose EMS for an earlier arrive date. About quality and texture - The cam chain guide roller from Honda is made from a hard rubber bonded onto a steel center, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - The cam chain guide roller is a solid little part that constantly cops a beating from the cam chain and it's tension. It's worth your while having an inspection every now and then and keeping an eye out for pieces of rubber in the filter.Products to buy together - Parts within the cam chain tensioner system suffer significant wear with engine upgrades that allow for much higher RPM riding and a key product to buy together with the cam chain guide roller is the cam chain tensioner push rod head.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the cam chain guide roller is an advanced task that took 1 hour to complete due to the disassembly of the engine required to access the area in which the guide roller is installed. Mechanical aptitude and the use of a special tool and basic hand tools is what is required to secure the guide roller to the engine case.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Honda sell to be very reasonable when compared to what some of the other companies sell their products for and the cam chain guide roller is no differentAbout shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the cam chain guide roller, I chose EMS for an earlier arrival date.
