Every knipex tool I own is made so extremely well. These things are amazing and do such a great job and stripping and cutting, not to mention you can use the tip as a reamer. You can surprisingly cut bolts/threaded rod like a knife through butter.They never get hung up and after razor sharp still after daily use.The blades are sharp and they feel like they will last forever with heavy daily usage. Only things I don’t like is the locking mechanism and price;This one takes a bit of getting used to. Found it a little harder to do single handed locking / unlocking while working with cables and doing terminations. Also the design of its lock has a bit of play meaning when it’s locked, the jaw spring opens up just a bit. Not a ton but they don’t lock flush.I know they are really expensive, but, if you are like me you have bought all the cheap ones and were disappointed in yourself for not having bought higher quality ones sooner. Save yourself the money on all the disposable ones from the other big brands and just get these they might be the last ones you’ll ever buy.
The cover doesn't really improve anything, but it looks great with my other fancy pieces. Worked as planned, good quality and as represented. Was looking for an inexpensive triangle stand, I wasn't sure if it would fit for my application. Simple, well made tool that does the job. A lot stronger than trying to use the plastic cap version.The Zeta did not disappoint. Really good qualitya little smaller than expected but great for tight spaces in between spokes etc.Easily removed valve cores on two different bikes. The machining is very nice and the textured area at the top provided a solid gripping surface. The tool is very short, which worked great on a CRF, as well as larger bikes. Because the tool is so short, it could be easy to misplace, but it will also easily fit in a tool roll.definitely recommendView Detail
This is one of those invaluable tools that you never think you need until the time comes that you are mounting your own tire or changing out a tube. Nice and small for the trail pack. For the price you can't afford not to have one of these tools. Avoid the sore fingers and get yourself one or pay the guys at the shop to change your tires for money a pop.This is my second time buying it and I gave the other one to my friend as a gift. Excellent value.A drc classic great quality tool. This tire iron has a nice round circular end with rounded edges that make me feel comfortable that it will not nick or catch the tube. The flexable material on the handle is wide enough to give a good grip yet thin enough to slede under the brake rotor and hold that position without slideing out.View Detail
