I purchased this Coil as I needed a longer HT lead to work with my modifications and this allowed me to keep my standard coil in original condition. The lead on this coil is 500mm so gives plenty of length for all needs.View Detail

About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the hyper ignition coil, the housing is made from a durable plastic available in a wide range of colours and the wiring is longer then the genuine Honda part allowing for different routing for a cleaner install. About the feeling of use: This hyper ignition coil definitely helps squeeze every bit of performance out of the Grom BBK, another SP Takegawa part worth adding to the build. Products to buy together: Some SP Takegawa reliability mods like the crankshaft support bearing would also be desirable to purchase along side the hyper ignition coil to help minimise any the chance of an engine failure as you increase the engines power output. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about an hour, remove the right side fairing for access and transfer the spark plug cap over, the hyper ignition coil is now plug and play with the mounting and wiring. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting a simple but reliable performance upgrade for the ignition system that is straight forward and cheaper then most of the other options available.
