Bought this SP TAKEGAWA Hyper Ignition Coil and an NGK Plug Cap for my JB03 Monkey 125, seems like a pretty cheap performance upgrade. The ignition coil fits perfectly in the stock location, no modification neccessary.
About quality and texture - The hyper ignition coil from SP Takegawa is made from injection molded plastic with a red surface finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect. About the feeling of use - Just another small part that helps improves engine performance over the original part. The hyper ignition coil is worth the expense for the stronger engine feeling through the entire RPM range. Products to buy together - A key product to purchase when upgrading the ignition system is a spark plug cup to complete the hyper ignition coil installations as this part does not come complete ready for use. Difficulty of installation - The installation of the hyper ignition coil is an simple task that took 0.5 of an hour complete. Some mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is what is required to secure the hyper ignition coil directly to the frame. Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products SP Takegawa sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the hyper ignition coil is no different. About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the hyper ignition coil, I chose EMS for an earlier arrive date. I purchased this Coil as I needed a longer HT lead to work with my modifications and this allowed me to keep my standard coil in original condition. The lead on this coil is 500mm so gives plenty of length for all needs.View Detail
About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the hyper ignition coil, the housing is made from a durable plastic available in a wide range of colours and the wiring is longer then the genuine Honda part allowing for different routing for a cleaner install. About the feeling of use: This hyper ignition coil definitely helps squeeze every bit of performance out of the Grom BBK, another SP Takegawa part worth adding to the build. Products to buy together: Some SP Takegawa reliability mods like the crankshaft support bearing would also be desirable to purchase along side the hyper ignition coil to help minimise any the chance of an engine failure as you increase the engines power output. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about an hour, remove the right side fairing for access and transfer the spark plug cap over, the hyper ignition coil is now plug and play with the mounting and wiring. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting a simple but reliable performance upgrade for the ignition system that is straight forward and cheaper then most of the other options available. About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght is my preferred method of shipping due to the lower cost and it is fantastic that it has returned as an option once again so I can put my money toward parts and not high shipping costs. About quality and texture, I can confirm that the quality is great and that the materials used are a combination of a black coloured ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) plastic for the coil housing, a black soft rubber tubing for the sleeve and a black 7mm diameter wiring for the ignition lead. About the feeling of use, I was sceptical of there being any improvements when I purchased this product and am happy to report that on the first ride there was a noticeable improvement in throttle response. From that experience I have to assume that the product is delivering an improved discharge voltage for the best combustion condition at all RPM ranges as advertised. Products to buy together, Some new spark plugs from NGK preferably would be ideal to also add to your cart when purchasing the hyper ignition coil so you are maximising the chance of obtaining the best possible spark for your new setup. Difficulty of installation, I can say the fitment of the hyper ignition coil for my installation was average, the nature of the task is simple but access to the part on the Grom does demand the removal of fairings to complete the task. Installation was pretty straight forward, just followed the Youtube video by Opmid for the 4 speed Monkey.The JB03 Monkdey 125 has a different temperature sensor so the connectors for this on the Opmid harness was not used. The most annoying part of the harness install was connecting the clutch switch signal wire to the starter relay. To make it easy I removed the battery and battery box/tray to get access to the starter relay.I used the following figures to configure the gear ratio on the Opmid multimeter:5.2 - 1st gear: 2.8465.3 - 2nd gear: 1.777 5.4 - 3rd gear: 1.315 5.5 - 4th gear: 1.034 5.6 - 5th gear: 0.8435.7 - 6th gear: noneThis worked a charm, every gear up and down while riding, the gear indicator showed the correct gear. Sometimes it gets confused when your revs are low and you change gears.The display is great, bright, easy to read in any light condition. I also purchased the matte non-reflective protective film and it helped with reducing glare. I am very happy with this Opmid multimeter, it's head and shoulders better than the stock one. Now to the "but"... no engine temperature. I'm still working out which option to take.View Detail
Because the protective film is cut almost exactly the same size as the face of the Opmid multimeter, the film edges will not lay flat if it's not set down perfectly. Opmid should have pre-installed these films on the multimeter at the factory, hence 4 stars.Onces you get it perfectly centered, the film is excellent. The matte, non reflective film I chose works great in sunny condtions. Great that you get 2 films in the pack, backup or just in case...I'd recommend it, a good way to keep the face from scratching and less glare from the sun. Just take your time installing and use painters tape to remove dust from the 2 surfaces before you lay it down and push bubbles out.View Detail

I bought these to function as daytime running lights for my JB03 Monkey 125. They work great, and are super tiny. The only gripe I have is their colour is around 3000-3700 Kelvin, they're more yellow than my stock headlights. I bought these Rear Blinker Taillight Bracket for to fit 3 in 1 Kellermann Atto brake/turn signal lights on my JB03 Monkey 125. Despite being for Harley Davidsons, these fit my shock mounts perfectly.
