[How is it used?
The exhaust sound became a little quieter after replacing the deteriorated silencer with a new silencer, but it was still too noisy because it was originally a Racer, so we decided to add an additional baffle. Since there is no special product, I decided to use a ready-made baffle (techserfu K-MAX Baffle for KX250F), but since I could not install it as it is, I applied this product to the Silencer side as a place to hook the spring.

Was the installation difficult?
The two Rivets (upper side) of the Silencer were removed and re-tightened with the Plate, and the Plate was fixed to the Rivet by drilling a new hole in the lower side of the Silencer with a drill.

I used it for DR-Z400S which I bought by private sale. 1 year or more, but in case of private sale, I always try to ride it after doing the maintenance as much as possible. In fact, I know someone who bought it from a private seller. I'm sure you'll be able to spot the signs if you remove the oil. (I don't remember the cause, so I can't say...) Not sure what all the fuss was about as far as install. Stock bolts screwed Shrouds easily back in. Most difficult part was disconnecting the hose but that’s because my hands are fat. No manipulation or longer screws needed. Easy installation even removing and installing the fuel pump went smooth. Love that I have almost an extra gallon of fuel now.I installed this on my CRF and love it. The fitment was great and the extended fuel range is fantastic. On my particular bike the tank replaces the original tank panels. My only tiny complaint was one of the four screws that holds in the fuel pump stripped with minimal force. Luckily there's not leaks after miles and miles of hard riding. Matches the Acerbis rotor guard kit.fast and easy to install with 10mm socket. Beginner level installation skills.Good looking product. Would have given five starts but the fit is a little tight with the fork tube guards. I happened to have the fork tube guards off when I installed the these leg guards. I found that the fork tube guards had to go on first so you you can tuck the outside of the leg guards under the fork tube guards.Havent rode in mud yet, so not sure if it will be good. Will definitely protect lower shock from rocks and crashes, the plastic is really tough.. Had to remove the wheel to get brake side to fit but thats because I had rotor guard on.View Detail

Love the look! I had purchased some after market lower fork covers and they were getting very hammered from normal use.Well made graphics and thick for protection to my new plastic.Otherwise the graphics are thick and durable, after riding through the bush a few times there is hardly any noticeable scratches. WOW! Made the fork look like new! The actual decal is very thick, so I expect they will last a long long time. Fork guards are not round but have creases so use a heat gun to ease installation to mold around the plastic.View Detail

Takes a bit off effort to install it properly . The instructions were easy to follow and the job went well. Fit and quality are excellent.One of the best additions I've added to my rocket. This will keep the brake rotor as well as the caliper free of rocks, bushes, etc. Definitely the way to go if you want to protect it. I bought the black one. Compared to the old models, the disk is more successful in cooling, the ventilation holes are larger. I love the look of this. It completes the front of the bike. Easy setup.
