I'd just received XAM r ear Aluminum sprocket with red anodized and RK Black Scale Chain BL520R-XW for Kawasaki KLX 250, . I'd replacing the stock chain and rear sprocket KLX 250 with XAM rear aluminum anh RK black chain 520 (106 links). A very nice x-ring black 520 chain for my Ninja 300. Really cool for black colour with the gold contrast compare with the OEM chains. It is easy to clean and maintenance, strong structure with Japan chains. Quite expensive but worth to buy. Hope it can use for 25,000km after a few years. View Detail
Attached to a VTR and used for about 12,000km including rainy weather driving in the main commuting mode. I adjusted the Chain tensioning twice along the way, but the Adjuster still had plenty of room to spare and I felt like I could ride it twice as much already. (I gave the VTR away to a friend, but I'm still using it.)
Even after running in the rain, I didn't do maintenance (cleaning and refueling) often, about once a month, and I parked the bike in the blue sky (when I know it's going to rain, I'll cover it) If it's this useful, I think it's going to last a lot longer. 。 It depends on a variety of conditions, so it may not last as long as it should.
The Black scale is black, so dirt doesn't stand out too easily, and it doesn't look too dirty even with the maintenance frequency mentioned above, which is a good thing for commuting vehicles. View Detail

It was the time to change out the chain and sprockets for RM250. I decided I would go for a MXZ gold chain this time as previously, I have gone with either the chrome or standard finish. I found the correct chain and length by simply checking bike's user manual and that was pretty much it. No need to go on Suzuki parts catalogue as some things, you should just know about the bikes in your household you maintain. Although this is a heavy item, the shipping was pretty good and along with a couple of other small and light parts this worked out really well. I opted for EMS as they were a bit cheaper than my usual Fedex Express. This was already in stock so arrived within like 7 days of ordering. Come on, 7 days from placing the order to arriving at my door in the UK. Brilliant. All the parts in the order were well packed and as I also had a couple of small parts in the order, Webike securely wrapped them individually so even if the chain moved in transit, the smaller parts would not come to harm. I had a quick look at the chain upon arrival and I was speechless. The gold is super nice, it just feels like quality. Why go with anyone else than RK when these guys know exactly what they are doing with chains. All fitted including the front and rear sprockets in less than an hour. This chain looks amazing.
