About quality and texture: I am extremely happy with the quality of the trail exhaust system from Hot Lap. The entire system is made from stainless steel with a hightly polished surface finish.About the feeling of use: I run the exhaust system without the baffle and the sound is very pleasent to hear, while the main attraction is how stunning the trail exhaust system looks when fitted to the Honda Monkey.Products to buy together: A replacement exhaust system gasket would also be desirable to purchase alongside the trail exhaust system to ensure there are no exhaust leak after installation.Difficulty of installation: The process to install took about one hour, I was removing an aftermarket exhaust which is very simple as it was just the two nuts and the front and one clamp at the back but the exhaust port gasket was very difficult to remove and then the positioning of the exhaust to ensure it did not contact the aftermarket clutch cover was problematic but you will not encounter this probelm with the OEM Honda clutch coverCost performance and comparison with other products: Great costing as you are getting a lovely designed exhaust system that is then outdone by the finishes of the welding and polishing from the boutique exhaust manufacturer Hot Lap at a very reasonable price as compared to a lot of the larger exhaust manufactures that just do not have as much appeal and most are also priced higher.About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght was my preferred method of shipping due to the lower cost but currently this service is unavailable from Japan Post, EMS is much faster which is nice. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: I can confirm that you can install the Hot Lap trail exhaust system in conjuction with the clutch covers from either Kitaco and SP Takegawa. The type 520 up exhaust has beautifully finished stainless steel piping and utilizes carbon fibre on the muffler sleeve.* About the feeling of use, When this exhaust was originally installed the rest of the Monkey 125 was still stock. The exhaust woke up the little 125cc motor giving the feel of a little more power and the exhaust note was now able to be heard and it is a marvellous.* Products to buy together, Shortly after installing the exhaust I also purchased the up style air filter for the Monkey 125 that Hot Lap also manufacture, due to the wait time do yourself a favour and order the exhaust and air filter at the same time.* Difficulty of installation, Due to the exhaust being made up of 4 main pieces the aligning of the exhaust was tricky along with tightening the nuts on the head due to the loop shape on the front pipe. The process was completed in 60 minutes with a little difficultly.* Cost performance and comparison with other products, The pricing of the Hot Lap exhaust is very far as the materials used and quality of the workmanship is outstanding. You are receiving a high end product at an affordable price when comparing to other available exhaust for the Monkey 125.* About shipping and packaging, I am happy to wait 6 weeks on average for my parts to arrive in Sydney Australia via Webike's sea freight which comes with tracking and insurance so I know I'm covered in case something was to go wrong but with there outstanding bubble wrapping and boxing there have been no problems plus there is an extra wait time for the part to be manufactured so be prepared for that.* Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing, Before placing your order ask Webike for the next delivery date so you know how long you will be waiting.
