The arm is made from steel with the fixed wheel being made from plastic.About the feeling of use: Fits and operates as intended on a stock Grom. I have no problems using the Honda cam chain tensioner when the power of the Grom has not been increased.Products to buy together: A replacement gasket for the left crankcase cover would also be desirable to purchase alongside the can chain tensioner arm.Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about one hour. Remove the left crankcase cover, then the flywheel and finally the tensioner rod. You will now have access to replace the cam chain tensioner arm, now reverse the process and use a new gasket for the left crankcase cover.
