This air filter was on my honda dax with 26mm carburetor. These air filters are very large so sometimes they don't fit very well. I would not recommend these on a monkey, a dax still works. I myself am more fan of K&NI can't upload a picture but I can deliver them by mail, also for my other reviews WEBIKE

I was looking for a slightly larger pod air filter to suit my installation. This oval taper air filter from Special Parts Takegawa was what I went with and has done the job nicely. The quality of the the product is fantastic and has the additional feature of the union for the blow by hose if required. The chrome cap may not suit everyone but on my Honda Monkey 125 with all the other chrome it really fits in well. The price is a little high for a non cleanable air filter but this motorcycle mostly gets used on sealed roads so should last a long time and you can purchase a water resistant cover part number 03-01-1121 to suit if needed.View Detail
I wanted an open air filter setup for my 2018 Honda Monkey 125cc but did not want to buy a kit like everyone else so I decided to make my own air filter setup. Purchased 135 degree aluminum inter cooler pipe, a silicone joining boot and clamps locally and purchased the Special Parts Takegawa 42mm oval taper air filter from Webike. A few hours in the garage and I now have a cooling looking open air filter setup. The induction noise from the air filter did take a little getting use to but is very cool and I just love the look of the bike now that the big black OEM Honda air box is gone. I use this air filter on my Kawasaki KSR takegawa 178cc kit + Honda NSR Carburetor. This carburetor have 49 diameters. So I ordered wrong size. But I can D.i.y it to fit on this carburetor by used my old air filter\'s wheelbase(46mm) replace on this air filter\'s wheel base (42mm). About quality and texture, I can confirm that the quality is great and that the materials used are one coarse sponge and one fine sponge for the two air filter elements and a hard plastic for the air filter frame. About the feeling of use, This air filter is the best to use to maximise the performance out of the original air cleaner box and having the option of the coarse and fine sponge air filters allows me to choose the ideal filtering level for the given riding environment. Products to buy together, If you are looking to get every bit of performance out of the original air cleaner box then it would be ideal to add the larger diameter air duct to your cart also. Difficulty of installation, I can say the fitment of the air filter for my installation was very easy due to the ease of access to the cover of the air cleaner box that needs to be removed before simply placing the air filter in and installing the cover to secure the air filter in place. Cost performance and comparison with other products, The pricing of the product is great. You receive two air filter elements made from quality sponge that can be cleaned and reused for thousands of miles. No addition cleaning and oiling kits required like some of the other brands. Another great product from Takegawa! Good if you want to maximise the stock airbox. Dont know if this increases horsepower but definately worth it as you can wash and reuse the filter elements.View Detail
