K&N Replacement Air Filter

This Speed Triple came in for a service which included air filter, oil filter and oil change. I decided to go for the K&N filter over the OEM one because you also have the ability to wash, re-oil and re-use these filters. I have never found them to be anything less than the quality of the standard OEM filters and do not have any less performance. As I said, these are reusable if you do it all correctly. This is replacing the OEM Triumph one which came on the bike when the customer dropped it off. By the looks of it, it has not been changed for a while. I despair how some people manage to run bikes without the slightest notion of maintenance. Finding the correct filter for this bike was easy too, I checked on Webike website and this showed the models that fit each filter. Really easy. I had other items in my order and this then cut down the shipping over the entire order. I use EMS fast service which arrived at my door in 5 days. All the items were packaged really well and bubble wrap and air pockets were used to fill any space in the box. Webike even tape the outer box on all sides so nothing can get in or out. The filter arrived in perfect condition and did come pre-oiled which is also nice so you do not have to mess around the first time. Fitted in about half an hour total. The final result was perfect. A one off purchase for an air filter that wil last the life of the motorcycle, during my ownership anyway.Products to buy together - Another product to purchase when looking to further increase the performance on the Grom would be a lightweight flywheel, which allows for an increased throttle response.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the round taper type air filter is a simple task that took 0.7 of an hour complete. Some mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is what is required to gain aceess, remove the original air intake and secure the round taper type air filter to the new larger inlet tube.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products K&N sell to be high when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the round taper type air filter is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the round taper type air filter, I chose EMS for an earlier arrive date. Very happy with this chain link puller. It's easy for them to work. When the handle is pressed, the teeth of the clamp are moved apart and the chain link is inserted there. And from above we twist the hairpin to extrude the connecting pin. Made of hardened steel. Everything is done simply and efficiently. I liked him.View Detail

Not a bad mirror from EMGO. It is the same as the original. But the bad news is that there is no rubber lining included with the mirror. There is also a slight backlash in the mirror mount in different directions. As for replacing your damaged original mirror, it will do fine.View Detail

A device for extruding the pins of the chain connection. It fits into the groove in the center bolt of the DID chain puller. On one side of the fixture there is a riveter for connecting the chain, and on the other there is a pressure pin. The mechanism itself is hardened and very fragile. If you press out incorrectly, you can break the pin. I already did it. But I still recommend it.View Detail
