After 20 years from new I finally had to change the clutch in my Honda CB750 RC42. Especially now that I run a Keihin CR31 carb and CBX750 RC17 camshafts it will need a good clutch with this increased power. This FCC clutch kit fits perfect, looks great and I hope it will ride also very good and will meet my expectations. Feeling by hand the clutch lever is smooth, the springs seem to be quite handy and not too hard.
It was a bit of a hassle to clean off the stuck-on Gasket, but if you polish it off with Oil stone, it's not that large a task, so it was right to replace it by myself. Since I soaked the Clutch Plates and Friction Plate in Oil beforehand, the movement of the Clutch was smooth from the beginning even after the replacement. I haven't driven it much since the replacement but it looks great.View Detail
I recently felt incompatible with the connection of Clutch so exchange. OEM was also good, but since it is more secure to strengthen, choice ADVANTAGE in low price range in category category! When exchanged, the connection of Clutch is Soft and Smooth, Traction can be reliably hooked securely. It is pleasant to be able to shift shift without anxiety even in the high speed range. It was more than I expected.View Detail
The clutch was a normal clutch that had been used for many years, but after 80,000km, it recently started slipping, so we decided to replace it with an Advantage FCC. Since it was a good opportunity, the standard Advantage FCC was used. (Reinforced) 。 After the replacement, we thought it would be better to replace the oil as soon as possible the first time, so we did so without replacing the oil. (Side Stand) At the Scheduled after 500km of acclimatization After installation, I could feel that the car was holding firmly in high gear in a straight line, which may be natural since the Diaphragm system was replaced by the Reinforcement Spring system. The vehicle started to rise a little faster than before, so I fine tuned the rebound damping of the Front Suspension. Demerit makes the Lever heavier. Even with external φ19mm, familiarity and grip Up is a must. Next, I will try to put in OVER's Light clutch. How is the collaboration between Advantage and OVER.View Detail
It was OEM and a little slippery. When I switched to this one, they are tightly connected and do not slip at all. As one would expect from the FCC. Durability was not bad, and it did not seem to diminish quickly.View Detail
I did the Bore up and used the OEM Clutch, and sure enough, it slipped & hellip; I could use it, but the Torque increased with the Bore up, and the Embrake became harder, so I changed to this one with the Overhaul. Embracing also becomes gentle, and even the engine which has been bored up does not slide and is good.
good point The Single has a Torque which makes it harder to drive. It reduces this problem.
The Clutch transmits the engine power efficiently, and the blowing has become lighter.
Reinforcement Type is better than OEM so you don't have to worry about slipping.
A bad point Replacing the clutch plate is more of a hassle than a challenge because it requires a lot of rooting.
Need to break in a little, about 100km.
I think it will be easy to drive both OEM and Bore up vehicle. The emblem is a Large cut, but it is quite tiring for long distance driving such as Touring. Please consider it. By the way, you can do it yourself by looking at the service manual or Net.View Detail
* Measure the weight of the spring included It is 30Gram lighter than NORMAL
* Length of Spring It's a bit longer than NORMAL, but the hardness might not change.
Is it corresponding to 3GM5 '91 because it was written 3GM in the conformity table? I think so, but 3GM Series has different Parts Structure after '93, so I am not sure if there is no problem in actual running.
The video will be attached to the appropriate one.View Detail
I purchased this product to reduce embrittlement and friction loss. It's expensive, but it's really good.
good point Embracing is calm. So you can concentrate only on cornering on the way down.
● It also increases fuel economy. I think it's because the resistance is reduced.
The entry of GEAR is smooth and easy to enter.
The accuracy of the parts is unquestionable.
A bad point The installation is Large strange.
This is a great part that will make you want to drive sports. The way I run has changed dramatically since I put this in. It's interesting. It's just expensive!View Detail
I use the CR carburetor in my CB750 for some time and it works nice, although the work of the original throttle cables was not so light. I ordered the PEEK link rod after reading a lot of good comments on the Factory Mameshiba site. Mounted it together with the new spring and must say the work is lighter then before, the inner parts of the carburetor as all of metal had great resistance between each other not to mention the wear of each part. Works nice ;)View Detail
Because the SPII ignition sparks my CB750 very well I decided to use it also for my 1988 HONDA CB450S. As this one is using a CDI ignition I decided to use the universal coil set without amplifier. Arrived, mounted into original bracket and sparked right away on cold outside. Revs nicely and I think more smooth and constant than original coil, only thing above 6000 RPM the tachometer jumps up to max... Maybe a resistor will help, must try.View Detail
Last year I have mounted a CR31 for my CB750 RC42, together with some extra parts from Factory Mameshiba, but the throttle feeling with original Honda grip and throttle cables was not satisfying at all, it was stiff, jamming, the original 20 years rubber did not look good. I decided to change for Mameshiba wires and throttle pipe with variable winding. Besides the nice rubber pattern on the grips, the feeling of smoothness raised and variable winding is very useful for the CR31 on daily use. View Detail
Last year the Earl's oil cooler with 13 rows has been fitted into my CB750 RC42 for better cooling. After that I used a PMC protector and last year a Yoshimura original protector was mounted instead. Fitting is very easy and fits the cooler very good (even the curved part). It gives to the cooler a great protection from bugs and flies and the Yoshimura logo looks beautiful over the honeycomb structure. Very nice product with good value as for original Yoshimura should be ;)View Detail
Yes, what to say... That's a hell of a carb ;) Before i used CR29, but having a brand new CR31 from the Bito R&D and that in a black version is just marveless ;) Needed to adjust it for my CB750 but that's not a problem. Together with some special parts from Mameshiba runs great.View Detail
