Installed with the correct (top forward) orientation right out of the box. Yes the needle shakes at some rev ranges, but at idle on my SR, 1200rpm, the needle is rock steady. It may shake itself to pieces in time, but that will be my punishment for buying the less expensive option. If the needle shake annoys you, spend 2x and get a glycerin-filled one... if you're on a budget, this is a nice piece of kit. Recommended.
The Daytona Motorcycle Engine Oil Temperature Gauge is a top-tier accessory for SR400. It provides accurate, real-time monitoring of engine oil temperature, ensuring optimal performance and preventing overheating. The gauge features a clear, easy-to-read display and durable construction, making it suitable for various riding conditions. Installation is straightforward, even for those with minimal mechanical experience. Its sleek design seamlessly integrates with most motorcycles, offering both functionality and style. I personally appreciate the peace of mind it offers, knowing that I can track the engine's health effortlessly. View Detail
Great product, has low and full oil level markings on dipstick that match my stock dipstick and the gauge lets me monitor the oil temperature while riding. I know some purchasers have complained about the lenses fogging after they followed the directions to disassemble the gauge to adjust temperature scale but I'm not going to risk disassemble. I installed it the first time and the dial was not straight. It took me a little bit to figure out that the dial is held by a circlip and after using a circlip pliers I was able to rotate the dial in the correct position. It looks so much better than the stock black oil tank cover. As it is made of metal, it gets more hot than the original cover. Be careful not to touch it when you just came from a ride. I'm not sure the if temperature reading is accurate but its definitely consistent. Under hard riding it gets to 100-110 degrees. Moderate riding puts it just about below 100 degrees. It would have been better if there were clear markings on the stick so you can use them to establish normal oil levels for your bike.View Detail
I’ve only just installed the oil temperature gauge dipstick but couldn’t get it to align properly. I think it might be the threading? But I have no issues with that at the moment. Temperature gauge works fine too. Needle reacts after a few minutes of engine warm-up from 30 degrees Celsius to about 40 plus Celsius. It came calibrated when shipped to the ambient room temperature. So I didn’t have to adjust and calibrate the needle.View Detail
When you put it on SR400 and tightened well it become upside down. This is strange. Tried to measure boiled water, it shows 90 celcius. Nice thing is the price.View Detail

This thermometer was purchased to monitor the temperature on my Honda Chaly. I want to monitor engine performance parameters before and after increasing engine displacement. I like the workmanship of this thermometer, its design, the ability to quickly understand what the temperature of the internal combustion engine is even while driving (the rotation function helped a lot with this). I am definitely pleased with the purchase and can recommend it.View Detail
I highly recommend this oil dipstick. Not only it adds to appearance but also and most importantly allows for engine oil temperature reading at any time. High quality product View Detail

Daytona's dip stick is fine piece of engineering. It has a temperature gauge for checking engine oil temperature. I like the quality of product and its look when gauge is installed. One small disappointment is poor oil level marking. The dip stick only have one line instead of marking for min and max. oil level View Detail
I ordered a set of these K2TEC Style-1 expansion-chambers for my 1985 (1KT) TZR-250. WeBike informed me that there would be a thirty-day wait for the pipes to be fabricated by K2TEC, and I would be notified of my shipping date. A matter of days later, I was informed they would be DELIVERED in two weeks. Well done K2TEC and WeBike! The pipes arrived very well packed for shipment to the USA; separate bags for all components, and everything needed included in the box. I installed the chambers myself with only hand tools in less than 2 hours. The pipes have a beautiful gloss-coat finish from the factory, and change colors and hues after they are heat-cycled - they look so good, I don't want to cover them up with the fairing lower panels. Starting the bike up, it sounded absolutely GREAT, the single-wall piping adds a crispness to the exhaust note that is completely smothered by the heavy stock pipes. A test ride showed both smoother power delivery and no need for jetting changes.Knocked it right out of the park, gang - a VERY satisfying purchase!View Detail
Easy to install, and all hardware included. Beautiful stainless fender finish and burly brackets. Does not interfere with stock seat, allows you to retain the inner plastic fender to keep the electrics dry. Tail-light is provided with filament bulb, but accepts LED bulb easily. Wish it had an adaptor bracket for US-sized reg plates, but that's a tiny gripe. Very happy with this!View Detail
Thick sheet metal, with a beautifully polished finish. Easy to install, but I wish they put more than two installation clips in the package; I had one ping off into space, and spent half an hour crawling around my garage floor looking for it. I recommend safety glasses when installing the springs too - they pop out easily and at a high velocity - could damage your eye if they hit you there. Otherwise, an A+ piece of kit!View Detail
Good looking fork brace, strong, and easy to install. Removed the front wheel and OEM fender, changed the fork oil and installed this, all in less than an hour. GRP is nice and glossy on the outside surface. A great addition to your SR!View Detail
Very high quality single-wall stainless pipe, weight is easily half what the OEM double-wall SR pipe weighs. It installed very easily with a new exhaust gasket, and fit to an aftermarket muffler, just like the OEM. I did have a problem with the oxygen sensor installation: despite using moly disulfide thread lubricant, and working the sensor in very carefully, the threads seized before the O2 sensor was fully seated. I'm not sure if I did something wrong, if there is a difference in the thread pitch 2% vs the O2 sensor, or what, but I have no exhaust leak, so job done good enough.View Detail
