The cam specs listed are derived from the design values of the camshafts. The ST-1 can usually be installed as a bolt on, but if you need more accurate timing, it is recommended to re-timing the valve timing for each bike.

As POP Yoshimura used to say, "Power up and weight down for air-cooled large displacement bikes", and this lightweight camshaft for the GSX1100S/750S is the result of modern technology. The large diameter hollowing process (see photo), which requires extremely advanced technology, has resulted in a weight reduction of approximately 20% (600g) for two camshafts. Combined with the gyroscopic effect, the accelerator response has been improved. Furthermore, the barrel polishing process on the surface reduces friction loss and increases durability.
