If a defective EK Chain product is found and confirmed by EK Chain, the EK Chain product will be delivered free of charge as soon as possible.
(1) Costs required to remove and install EK chain products from the customer's vehicle for replacement or repair, and costs incidental thereto (sprockets, hub dampers, etc.)
(2) The cost of transporting the customer's vehicle to the repair shop
(3) The customer's lost profits and other extended damage costs resulting from defects or repairs

●In the event that a person without maintenance qualifications or equivalent knowledge and experience installs the product by himself / herself.
(Please ask a motorcycle specialist to install the chain.)
●If the chain is not installed in the correct way without using the special tools.(When cutting the chain, do not use a sander, iron, etc.)
●If the chain size is changed (converted) or used outside the applicable displacement range.
Even if you convert within the usable displacement of the chain, you can't convert the size down from the stock size
Life expectancy is lower than conventional sizes.

●If the joint to be used is not the same size and grade as the chain.
●If the chain is exposed to acid, alkali or pattery fluid.
(Discontinue use immediately and replace with a new one.)
●If the chain is not used with the correct amount of slack (deflection).

●If chain maintenance is not carried out regularly.
Use EK Chain Cleaner and EK Chain Lube for cleaning and refueling every 500km and after riding in the rain or on rough roads.Never use volatile solvents such as kerosene or gasoline for parts cleaners, especially for sealing chains.(Products such as chain and parts cleaners will also damage the seals)
●When the chain is contaminated with chlorinated substances such as snow-melting agents.
●This product is for use only in Japan and not for use overseas.
●If the chain has rust, scratches, misalignment of the sprockets, or other twists caused by the above.(Replace the chain with a new one immediately)
●If the product is used in a condition where there is abnormal noise or interference with the vehicle body during riding.(Please replace the chain with a new one after solving the cause)
●When the chain is replaced, the front sprocket, rear sprocket, hub damper and other related parts are not replaced at the same time.
●If the sprocket to be used is changed from the stock sprocket to a sprocket with a drastically increased or decreased number of teeth.
(This may shorten the life of the chain)
