bought this at a price under market mode price for similar items. have owned this + installed for over 6months on yzf-r3 2016. tbh very little noticable difference in power, but its 300cc and i remained using stock catalytic converter. when its first installled in combination with hi flow air filter i noticed increased power, especially past 9000 revolutions. possibly placebo cant tell because I have not run my own comparison dyno test, although the business claims to have, and shows the graph. no issues although sometimes bike takes longer to start if engine is already warm/requires slight amount of throttle. I imagine its possible the airflow is changed, and it effects ignition slightly on the stock ECU, but its no big drama. what is astounding is customer service. business owner has a facebook page and is very active. clearly invested in quality as he provides parts for racing in thailand, and they manufacture some r3 components in thailand anyway so imagine he has some industry exposure. i contacted him for help with install and he was very helpful and super responsive, nice guy. Install was a little bit complicated, had to remove the petrol tank, previous air cones were hard to remove, the screw-tightened band around them was very hard to remove and then replace because the screws are phillips head, and located beneath the airbox. Then it was a lot of squeexing and manipulating to remove the airbox, and the throttle body has to come out halfway. but its not too hard if you even slightly handy. Fitment is very snug, this is not low a low QC bulk manufacturing chinese part. U will need a socket set/wrenches and allen key set, and screwdriver with really long head for fiddly spaces. Man recommended silicone for the installation, but i used the polyurethane used for car window seals. My local mechanic says this is better because it is more durable and has a higher melting point, idk lol. 4 stars because i haven't verify effectiveness on dyno myself, but that is formality, 5 stars in every other regard. I think this part would stand up to those that are 3X the price from international brands, perhaps due to its snug fitment, outperform them.
