Color (Cover): Black Material (Cover): aluminum material Applicable Clutch: Stock Clutch・SP Takegawa Slipper Clutch Kit (02-01-0118)
*Specification changes require the separate purchase of SP Takegawa designated parts. *In the case of GROM (JC61-1300001-) and MSX125SF, the rubber cap of the clutch scale and the clamp welded to the frame are close to each other, so if they interfere with each other, it is necessary to bend the clamp to provide clearance. *There may be changes in product specifications due to the manufacturer's reasons.
*Depending on the lot, the product may be delivered with the old price and label with the old JAN code before the price change.
Special clutch cover (hydraulic type) " with excellent functionality and development that can be installed with the stock clutch The special clutch cover with excellent functionality and development can be upgraded to a special clutch.
[Cclutch cover and R. crankcase cover] ■Machined aluminum clutch cover (hydraulic type) The hydraulic clutch is superior in clutch operation because the play of the lever does not change easily. The cover is made of finely machined aluminum with a black anodized surface. The "HYDRAULIC" logo is laser marked on the center of the clutch cover.
■Die-cast aluminum R. Crankcase cover R. The crankcase cover is made of die-cast aluminum. The cover surface is painted black. Cover is compatible with stock clutch and SP Takegawa slipper clutch (02-01-0118) After purchasing the clutch cover, it is possible to upgrade to a reinforced clutch (wet / dry).
[oil through nut] By installing it, you can save a lot of weight!!! Centrifugal oil filter approx.1069g → Oil through nut approx.123g You can remove the stock centrifugal oil filter which puts a burden on the crankshaft by replacing it with the attached oil through nut. This allows the crankshaft weight to be reduced from approximately 1069g to approximately 123g, resulting in a significant weight reduction. Also, the engine response will be improved by reducing the load on the crankshaft. By installing the oil through nut, the oil line leads to the crankshaft. Because it passes through the oil element, clean oil always flows to the crankshaft.
[other details] ■Built-in oil element Filters out impurities such as sludge and metal wear particles in the oil. By removing the impurities in the oil, it is possible to maintain the engine power. The oil element is a highly reliable cartridge type paper type.
■Oil level check window It is easy to check the oil level. The engine oil check window is made of durable glass.
■The large filler cap is made of die-cast aluminum and finished with chrome plating. The oil can be changed easily by enlarging the oil inlet.
[Oil outlet and patented structure] ■Oil outlet Oil can be taken out from the cover body directly to the oil cooler. SP Takegawa has the oil cooler kit for special clutch cover.
■Patented structure Thermostat installation part and oil line structure When the oil cooler kit (specification to take oil from the special clutch cover) is installed, overcooling can be prevented by installing the optional thermostat unit.
[new mechanism] A new mechanism that allows the oil line to flow to the cylinder head side to be changed via the oil element is adopted. By installing the oil line hose kit (sold separately), oil flowing to the head side can also pass through the oil element. This prevents engine damage caused by oil sludge. To install the oil line hose, it is necessary to use the oil outlet boss to the oil cooler on the SP Takegawa big bore cylinder (except e stage).
[Optional] ■Thermostat unit 02-01-5052 Overcooling can be prevented by removing the oil from the cover body to the oil cooler and installing the thermostat unit (sold separately). To install the thermostat, SP Takegawa oil cooler kit must be installed at the same time.
■Breather cap (90 degree swivel type) 07-06-0001 By installing the breather cap, the return hose can be connected when SP Takegawa's oil catch tank kit is installed.
■Oil Line Hose Kit 00-07-0095 By installing the oil line hose kit, the oil flowing to the head side can also pass through the oil element. This prevents engine damage caused by oil sludge. To install the oil line hose, it is necessary to use the oil outlet boss to the oil cooler on the SP Takegawa big bore cylinder (except e stage).
■Compact Cool Kit (for Special Clutch Cover) Install the oil cooler using the oil outlet on the cover. The kit differs depending on the installation position of the oil cooler body. There are 3 types of oil cooler: SP Takegawa Big Throttle Body and Air Filter Kit installed, oil cooler installed on the shroud bracket (left photo), oil cooler installed under the stock cylinder head, and oil cooler installed under SP Takegawa Super Head 4V+R head. There are three types of installation.

We acquired brembo's RCSMASTER by chance, tried to convert it to semi-hydraulic, but gave up due to lack of skill, and finally came up with this hydraulic kit.
First of all, it's expensive... I decided to buy it because I had an RCSMASTER and could not back out of the semi-hydraulic conversion failure with a re-cover, so the price Hurdle may be a little high for those who are thinking of hydraulizing from the beginning....
But not until it is actually installed. I guess Grom doesn't have an Oil Filter." I had never thought of it as anything more than a "centrifugal filter", but I see that the Grom has a centrifugal filter attached to the crankcase side. But not a System that can be efficiently removed during Oil change... So you can convert it to a filter replacement type by replacing it with Takegawa's CrankcaseKit! In addition, the centrifugal filter is also removed and the weight is reduced by about 1 kg, so the start-up pickup is lightened to the same extent as if a lightweight flywheel had been installed. And to think that it can be converted to hydraulics! I wonder if it is not as expensive as I thought it would be, considering that it can be converted to Lightweight Fly Wheel and Oil Filter as well as hydraulics, which is what I had originally thought. I think it is not as expensive as I had originally thought.
Even the Sunday mechanic was able to replace it in about 2 hours.
I personally quite like the fluffy Clutch meat compared to Wire clutch. As for myself, I am very happy with this Takegawa Hydraulization Kit!View Detail
