If the headlight has gone out stop riding immediately, or switch to high beam (and adjust the optical axis) if it is necessary to ride. At this time, ride at low rpm as much as possible. Removing all security parts from a race bike requires specialized knowledge and replacement or additional parts.
■Do not install aftermarket H.I.D. kits, or LED headlights or fog lamps made by other companies at the same time. Some ballasts / inverters (voltage converters) emit high-voltage noise that may adversely affect digital circuits, causing product failure or malfunction.
■Do not install an aftermarket ignition system, ignition coil, plug cord, or racing plugs (non-resistor type), as they may cause a malfunction due to an increase in adverse noise. Deterioration of ignition system components is also related to increased ignition noise.
■Do not install an aftermarket power generator because it may cause a drop in battery voltage due to insufficient charging power or malfunction of control voltage, which may result in failure or damage.

SP Takegawa calls this meter "D type" because it looks like a D shape when you look at the body from below. D type is recommended for those who want to upgrade the instrumentation to match the engine tuning.

Appearance and LCD display of the new D-type speedometer and tachometer The LCD display technology that SP Takegawa has been developing for a long time allows you to see the meter display from the riding position without disturbing it. There are four OEMIndicators for the CRM250AR, and it was difficult to find one that would fit on the external Meter. We decided to cut off only the Speedometer section. In this case, the Meter's large size (diameter) would be limited, so we decided to use this product, which is as large as the OEM and has a high functionality.
It was much more visible than the OEMMeter, and incidentally, it was better because it had a Tachometer. For some reason, the Tachometer display sometimes became unstable at high RPM. (I had no problem with other Tachometers)
