Some of the valves on this bike were ready to be redone and sometimes the valve stem seals can perish and this was the case after inspection. I decided to just go ahead and buy one anyway as it is not smart to change valves and not sort out any other issues along the way. I found the part relatively easily enough using the Yamaha schematics for the bike model, these are pretty much the same throughout the XT250 range anyway so not hard to find. The cost was really good value so why would you not just change it out anyway. I did only need the one which was handy as the other looked pretty good. A few other parts with this were ordered together by EMS and delivered in 5 days. All my order was delivered with no issues, all the gaskets were kept flat so not to damage. This gasket is not a big one but it does have some intricate details that need to be correct to fit the cylinder. You can see it has been manufacturered the right way and not cheaped out on it. It is sturdy and has a slight flexibility. The fitting went in pretty easily too. Fitted quickly but precisely in just under an hour with everything else put back together. Very pleased with this one, the bike does sound and run a lot better and I know it will last a fair few years to come. Thanks Webike.
