[Before replacement] *When replacing the floating pin, use a new disc or a disc that has been used normally and has no problems at all. *Please do not use stock discs or aftermarket discs that are badly worn or warped. Not only is it ineffective, but it cannot be installed properly. *Please note that replacing the pin will not solve the problem of the disc with Jada.
Floating brake discs provide stable braking performance by reducing warping and distortion of the disc rotor that occurs during braking. However, the floating discs used in the stock discs are caulked so tightly that they are not able to show their true performance as floating discs. The Plus μ Floating Pin is mounted with a wave washer and E ing, and fully demonstrates its performance as a floating bait.
Perfect for dressing up your machine. Plus μ Floating Pin.
Kashima Coat is the lubricating alumite which Miyaki Co., Ltd. has researched and developed for the purpose of improving the wear resistance by adding lubricating function to the hard anodizing. Aluminum has the disadvantage of being prone to corrosion. However, the corrosion resistance is four to five times higher than that of conventional chrome plating by the Kashima coating treatment. Aluminum has an image of being soft, but the hardness of Kashima coating reaches HV400. In the abrasion resistance test, it is about three times higher than hard chrome plating. The repetition of "hard + lubrication" is about several billion to 70 billion per 1cm2, which makes the wear resistance of Kashima Coat significantly improved compared with hard anodized aluminum. Molybdenum disulfide, which is a lubricating substance, accumulates from the base in the countless pores regularly lined up in the anodic oxide film generated by primary electrolysis and fills the pores to form Kashima coating.
