OHLINS had a lineup of S46HR1C1L type for YZF-R25, but YA967 is an updated version of the S46HR1C1L type, with preload adjustment also located above the end-eyes for easier preload adjustment.
40-way rebound damping adjustment is equipped with gas-pressurized single shock with built-in free piston and 20-way compression damping adjustment on the reservoir tank.
The priority of Ohlins is to keep the friction under control, because this is the key to achieve the ideal damping characteristics, from smooth start to heavy input for hard riding.
Ohlins continues to produce shock absorbers that satisfy both the need to shave off time on closed tracks and the need for comfort on long distance touring without tiring the rider.
