With this Carrier, you can prevent interference between the bracket and cowl by inserting a 15mm collar.
For this reason, you will need a longer bolt for the Fender mounting area, so if you need it, it's a good idea to have it ready.
(I was OK with 55-60mm under the M8 neck)
If you put a collar between the base bracket and the cowl, the carrier will be tilted backwards, and the carrier itself will interfere with the cowl.
(I think 3-5mm thick collar is suitable to eliminate the step on the mounting surface. Mounting bolt at this time is about 25-35mm under the neck of M8)
It's not as strong as the regular installation method, but I was able to install it securely.
If you can make a part for long tail cowl by taking out another 20mm from the cowl interference of this Base bracket, I think people will buy it if it's around 5,000 yen.
