I think it depends on the Large size and shape of the helmet.
It is quite a use of Limit to stick the key in the Helmet when removing it.
A separate Helmet Lock Assist could be used.

A helmet holder can be installed by bolt-on to CB1000R which is not equipped with a helmet holder.
Easy installation by tightening with the left side pillion step holder!
It can be installed in a position where it does not get caught on the legs when pillion, so there is no sense of discomfort.
