Features of the resister plug In order to suppress the ignition noise generated at the time of sparking, a ceramic resistor is built in. This plug has a built-in ceramic resistor to suppress the ignition noise generated by the spark. This prevents radio noise from entering bike radios, mobile hams, and bike telephones. It also prevents the engine control computer from malfunctioning due to noise. The effect differs depending on the bike.
The shape of the plug terminal is shown below. Please select the correct terminal shape for the engine and plug cord. There are three types of plug terminal shapes: integrated type, separate type, screw type, and punch and caulk type. The "integrated" and "punch-caulk" types are mainly used for automobiles, and the "screw" type for motorcycles. The terminal part of the "separate type" plug can be removed, but the terminal part of the "integrated type" and "punch-and-caulk type" plugs cannot be removed. If you try to remove it forcibly, the terminal part may break. If you want to use the "separate type" as the "screw type", remove the terminal nut. When using the plug with the terminal nut attached, make sure it is not loose, and if it is, tighten it lightly with pliers.
Features of NGK plugs - Super "wide range" plug. Purchased as replacements for my Yamaha MT10. These are the stock spark plugs but you simply cannot get any better than the NGK brand.
