The four "dragster style" end-caps are in machine-worked anodized Ergal.
The exhaust system has two carbon fiber heatshields which give to the product an awesome look. The kit includes illustrated instructions for easy fitment.
All QD exhaust systems are European homologated.
The horsepower gain is about 1.5 HP, while usually the increasement is about 3 HP. The kit is compatible with the Z1000SX, TOURER version, with lateral bags..
Points of Attention
* If there may be an instruction manual included, it will be written in Japanese.
Looks good, came with all parts needed to put on, including heatshield - on that note: Heatshield needs to be adjusted so it doesn't rub catalytic converter, and be warned - sound doesn't change much due to catalytic converter. Gives it slightly more low end rumble, high end isn't changed. Happy with purchase, also scorpion's have lifetime warranty if registered.
The Sound is very nice. Has a nice deep sound and not obnoxiously loud! I really like this exhaust and have gotten many compliments. The build seems very solid too!
After having this exhaust on backorder with a couple of months,it finally shipped and arrived within a week which is extremely quick compared to other deliveries. It was packaged extremely well with no way of the exhaust being damaged during transit, took longer to unbox the exhaust than it did to fit it. Quality of the can rivals the major manufactures. One of the best upgrade to the ninja 400! Turns the sound of your bike to a more aggressive and bassy! Shipment was fast and package carefully. Careful about custom tax in your country as it may be hefty.
