High spec twin shock released by NITRON.As well as the monoshock RACE series, it is equipped with a 2-way compression (low and high speed), 1-way rebound and 3-way full spec damping adjuster.
All parts are made from machined aluminum to achieve both aesthetic appearance and high performance in terms of lightness, rigidity, and heat dissipation, in pursuit of new shock absorber possibilities.
The compression damping system uses the needle-and-billy disc system*1 common to the ITRONMonoshock Series, providing a wide adjustment range and precise one-click damping changes.
The rebound damping system uses a super-low-resistance one-way valve*2 and a round-style damping needle that has been developed over a long period of time to provide fully independent actuation and one-click accuracy, just like compression.
Thorough low friction specification, high adjustability, and the damping feeling produced by the ultra-light aluminum body lead the rider to a realm never felt before.
*1 hemispherical spring. The damping force can be changed by the thickness, combination, and preload.
*2The Nitron uses a shim-type one-way valve to allow oil to flow more easily than before.The twin shocks, which are more important at low speeds, have been specially designed to facilitate the flow.
