I used this shock when I used to commute with my cb400, because the OEM shock was used and the dumping was missing, and I didn't want to have a rear shock that only touches the pre-road, so I was lucky to get this used rear shock that was only slightly used. The combination of Black Anodized and Black spring is very good looking, and the ride is very supple, and I can adjust the Preload Stepless Adjustment, the pressure, and the dumping finely. I was able to be in the mood to go riding with cb400 once in a while. At that time, YZF-R1, DORSODURO and 750FACTORY were my main motorcycle, so I went to ride cb400 for commuting on holidays.

The damper piston rods are DLC coated for a full black finish.Furthermore, it pursues the smooth operation feeling by the high sliding property of DLC coating.
