The R-77S Cyclone gives even more originality and lightness to the MT-09/ABS & TRACER chassis with its unique style and sportiness.
The weight is about 27% lighter than the STD exhaust (STD:8.5kg, R-77S Titanium cover: 6.2kg).
In terms of performance, it outperforms the STD in almost all areas and achieves output characteristics that can be used in any driving situation.
In addition, the R-77S silencer delivers a crisp and clear sound in the mid to high RPM range, while still retaining the unique throb of a 3-cylinder engine at low RPM.The synergistic effect of weight reduction enhances the riding enjoyment.

This EXPORT SPEC is the result of a request from an overseas user who is very particular about the performance of the product, while keeping the original artisanal Tig (weld) burn color and machining marks.By using highly durable stainless steel as the material, YOSHIMURA has achieved a unique design and style with excellent cost performance.

Titanium is burned and it is in a beautiful color.
This is no longer a muffler but a 'musical instrument'
it's the best.
This was my first experience purchasing and installing a motorcycle exhaust system SHIPPING: I ordered the system on 5/31 in the evening PST. It arrived on 6/4 in Scotts Valley CA via free regular postal service. It cleared customs with no problems

Impression that it took four days
There is nothing that is attached to Grom.
I just powered up with this.

High Quality High Mount Exhaust for the Grom

About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of R-77S full exhaust system from Yoshimura. Made up of a two piece stainless steel exhaust pipe that connects to the stainless steel sleeved and carbon fiber end capped muffler.About the feeling of use: A very impressive looking exhaust for the Grom with a good sized exhaust pipe that produces an increase in power and torque with a delight full exhaust sound.Products to buy together: A high flow replacement air filter would also be desirable to purchase along side the R-77S full exhaust and Yoshimura have one available via K&N.Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about one and a half hours to complete. A new gasket for the forward mounting flange is recommended. Not difficult to do.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are receiving a high quality manufactured product using quality materials that is proven to increase performance as compared to a slip-on exhaust that retains the Honda exhaust pipe.About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght was my perferred method of shipping due to the lower cost but currently unavailable due to Japan Post. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: This high mount exhaust system is designed for the 1st generation Grom as it comes from Yoshimura but can be made to fit the 2nd generation Grom with some fabrication.

Good looking.

Since the weight of the upper part of the car body has been reduced, the car body feels so much lighter.
Seems like Torque's trough around mid speed is gone!
Peak power is up a little. This was not only a feeling, but also an increase of about 4 Km/h in maximum speed on level ground.

Sweet sound and powerful!

This full system exhaust sure can change your grom! Not super loud, but good enough to let other driver notice you. Easily notice the acceleration power difference, and the out look just stunning. Beautiful craftsmanship from Yoshimura as always!
