*ST-2 can be installed by bolt-on, but if you need more accurate timing, it is recommended to re-set the valve timing for each vehicle..
Compared to the ST-1 camshaft (online shop link), the ST-1 camshaft provides more power at higher rpm.
The cam sprocket has been modified with a long hole to allow for valve timing adjustment (stock is fixed).This allows for use with various engine specifications and tuning levels.The valve timing has already been adjusted for the STD engine at the time of shipment.
When using ST-2 camshafts with stock valve springs, the included seat shims (which fit under the valve spring seats) are used to optimize the valve spring tension.
