The stock variator gave better acceleration from 0-40 however the Kitaco variator really comes into its own once you get past 40kms, lots of power and torque to keep you accelerating beyond 60kmns. Also can cruise at 50kms at 1/4 throttle. So in short more for top speed rather than acceleration. Acceleration does not improve at all even with lighter rollers.
