Since I gained weight, I decided to have a new wind stopper inner suit. As the name tells, it does not let the air pass through, but still, it feels cold if you are exposed to the open air in this suit. I've been wearing this type of suit from the previous model, and was satisfied with its feature. The used fabric has changed and has become a little thicker than before, but the feature was the same as it had been. The heat keeping effect differs depending on what you have inside. As for me, I mostly use it for touring ride, so I wear a thermal underwear inside. The suit itself is not that elastic. It uses some stretching material for its waist part only in order to let one take a forward-bent posture more easily. (The windbreak effect of this part is weak.) If you have a back problem, it would be better to have a pocket warmer on your back, or else you might have a hard time. If you are to use the suit for touring ride purpose, you will also need to choose the right size. When I was 170cm high and weighed 63kg, I had size M, but I rather chose size L, for my shoulder and waist part were squeezing tight. I now have size XL (I weigh 68kg) to keep more space inside.
