Be careful! There are two different dip sticks for MSX (Grom).
The first and the second generation Honda Grom (MSX) has different shape of righr-side crank case cover and oil dip stick length.The second generation's dip stick is longer as shown in the picture below.Therefore, if someone like me mistakenly uses the first generation's dip stick on the second generation, there is a chance of oil over filling.Makesure your MSX's generation or crank case cover's shape and order this item if the dip stick is mounted on upper-right position of the case cover.
Great honda oem casting, perfect for a rebuild if you have cracked or damaged your left hand casehalf. Happy to be able to order one from webike at a resonable price. This is also suitable for Monkey 125 but is missing the mounting points for the clutch windage tray, but imo the windage tray isn't critical. View Detail
As you would expect from a genuine honda product quality is great, surprised to see it comes with a new bearing which was a nice bonus. Will need new kick starter seal but that is to be expected.View Detail

About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the left crankcase, made from cast aluminium with perfect machined surfaces and finished in a grey paint specific for the Monkey 125.About the feeling of use: Great that the crankcase is available to build a new engine from scratch or re-build an engine that has sustained significant damage and all the parts both Honda and aftermarket fit as intended.Products to buy together: If you have purchased this crankcase it is probably due to crankshaft failure while running a big bore kit, so a forged crankshaft would also be desirable to purchase along side the left crankcase for your re-build.Difficulty of installation: The process to assemble the crankcase takes many hours, installation of bearing, crankshaft and transmission is required. Very difficult to do.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing considering the importance of having a replacement part like this available to get your Monkey 125 back on the road and even better prices with the new option to purchase direct from Thai Honda via Webike Thailand.About shipping and packaging: The faster shipping options are too expensive for myself so I just have to wait for my part to arrive via sea freight. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: The Webike OEM parts section will be most helpful for sourcing other parts needed for your re-build.View Detail
