I bought this crank to use with the Takegawa 4V+R 181 big bore kit. Its much thicker and more solid than the stock crank. So far its been really good, even at 11500rpm. Highly recommended.View Detail
About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of this strengthened crankshaft from SP Takegawa, using forged materials and special design for maximum strength and minimum weight.About the feeling of use: The strengthened crankshaft was a highly desirable upgrade for my 181cc BBK Grom to keep it as reliable as possible and I am happy I made the purchase.Products to buy together: The crankshaft assembly tool would also be desirable to purchase along side their strengthened crankshaft as this is a neccessary tool for the installation of the crankshaft into the right crankcase.Difficulty of installation: The process to install just the crankshaft takes about one hour. The engine needs to have been completely stripped and split to allow you to remove the Honda crankshaft using a hydraulic press. Tap in the frozen crankshaft bearing and then using the Kitaco crank assembly tool to pull the strengthened crankshaft into the right crankcase. A little difficult to do.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting a crankshaft made from quality materials and designed to last. The price is higher then the reinforced crankshaft from Kitaco which is also a great product but currently unavailable for several months.About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght was my perferred method of shipping due to the lower cost but currently unavailable due to Japan Post. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged, checkout my photo for how well the crakshaft is wrapped.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: If you a reasearching the cost and parts required to build up your Grom engine then please do not over look how important the strengthened crankshaft is for a long lasting performance engine.View Detail
About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of this crankshaft kit, the crankshaft is reinforced and the forged connecting rod is designed for maximum strength while remaining light in weight. This being the higher priced of the 2 products available from Takegawa it also includes their crankcase gaskets, woodruff keys and a cam chain.About the feeling of use: With this crankshaft kit now installed I can ride my modified Monkey with enjoyment and without the constant dread and wonder of if the crankshaft is going to break today.Products to buy together: The TAF 5 speed cross transmission kit from Takegawa would also be desirable to purchase along side their crankshaft kit as the access is there to now easily install this and it will also complement your big bore kit.Difficulty of installation: I had the local Honda motorcycle shop install the crankshaft into the right crankcase for me as I did not have the required tooling. The process to install takes about half an hour. Not difficult to do if you have the right tooling.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting a full crankshaft kit with all the additional parts to complete the install without having to re-use any of the Honda parts as compared to crankshaft available from Kitaco which is cheaper but gives you nothing but the crankshaft.About shipping and packaging: The faster shipping options are too expensive for myself so I just have to wait for my part to arrive via sea freight. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: If you are purchasing a big bore kit and are thinking you can get away without also purchasing a crankshaft from either Takegawa or Kitaco, I can advise that you may get away with it for a while but eventually it will fail and end up costing you more money in the long run.View Detail
After i installed the takegawa 181 4v big bore kit, i broke my stock crank. The stock crank just cannot handle the power. This crank will allow you to rev your engine to 11000 rpm. The build quality is fanstastic.View Detail
About quality and texture - Top quality. Forged crank with X shaped rod for strength and using Japanese quality bearings.About the feeling of use - With an increase in bore size and the addition of this crankshaft, I now feel confident in the durability of the engine.Products to buy together - The transmission is not the best in the Monkey 125 so while the cases are split some type of upgrade in this department is suggested. Kitaco have a cheaper option of the cross 4th gear set and Takegawa is recommended for the more expensive 5 speed transmission set.Difficulty of installation - I found the installation of the is part extremely difficult to carry out myself due to it being a massive job from start to finish and the special tooling that is required to use.Cost performance and comparison with other products - Cheaper options are available out of Thailand but my thoughts are to by a true and tested quality product from Japan, especially when it is a major job to carry out the installation.About shipping and packaging - I think Webike are doing their best with shipping pricing, so I'm happy. Packages ship within 24 hours and arrive very quickly from Japan.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Webike also offer a forged crank from Kitaco for the Monkey 125 which is worth taking a look at.View Detail

Purchased this to cover the Takegawa oil catch can kit which is advertised to fit with.Needs to be trimmed to fit over the forward and down facing line of the catch can. Also, plastic is very thin and uses Velcro to attach at the top.Looks good but quality and design are not up to Takegawa standards in my opinion. Originally I mounted hoses wrong and was losing oil. When mounted on the Monkey 125, hose port facing the tail light is your filter line or to intake port.View Detail
Worked as described. Once crank bearing installed in crankcase, this tool allows you to pull the crank through the bearing. Tool rests on inner bearing race so no damage to balls or races. View Detail
Excellent piece of kit. Always can be in the right rpm range unlike stock transmission. First gear is a little tall, would rather it be shorter but it is still ok. Makes the bike faster and shifting quality is better too. View Detail
