According to Bike Life Lab

In the 36th annual "Resale Price" ranking, the Honda CT125 Hunter Cub took the top spot by 1.9 points over the second place.

The "Honda CT125 Hunter Cub" was ranked in the top spot for the first time. This model, which is based on the Honda Super Cub C125 and has improved off-road performance, has remained popular since it was launched in Japan in June 2020, and many of the units on the market are in good condition. The number of points is almost the same as the previous 96.4, so we can expect a stable resale price.

The Honda Cross Cub 110 ranked 9th in this year's ranking for the first time since the 26th time. Based on the Honda Super Cub 110, this model is equipped for off-road riding, and is available in a limited "Kumamon Version" in collaboration with "Kumamon", the popular PR character of Kumamoto Prefecture, where Honda's motorcycle factory is located. In addition, while there are similarities with the Honda CT125 Hunter Cub, it is also a point that the price has been kept low, and it is presumed that many people use it for commuting, its popularity has not waned, and it has been ranked because of the distribution of high-quality vehicles.

As more and more new models are announced by each manufacturer, please keep an eye on our "Resale Price" ranking to see if there will be any changes in the ranking in the future.

What is "Resale Price"?

This is the price at which the motorcycle will be sold (resale) again. As of April 2021, new motorcycles are available for purchase, and the resale price is calculated based on the average bid price when the motorcycle is sold at auction and the new motorcycle sales price. The higher the number of points, the higher the resale price.
This index was compiled by Bike Life Lab based on data from "Bike O", which has handled a total of more than 2 million units, and is intended to be used as reference information for motorcycle users when purchasing a new or used motorcycle.

Calculation standard

- Motorcycles sold in Japan by the four major Japanese manufacturers (as of January 2021, excluding reimported models)
- New car sales price is based on the price as of January 2021.
If there is more than one price depending on the color, etc., the lowest price is used as the basis for calculation.
-If a model change has been implemented, only the latest model is included.
-The number of motorcycles in circulation that reach the number of Bike Life Lab's own regulations within the period is eligible.
