Ducati's new 2021 Multistrada V4S is now available in Japan. We had a chance to take it for a test ride on the test track, and here are our reviews. Everything about the new Multistrada V4S has been revamped, so there are so many things to talk about. The first thing we'd like to focus on is the adaptive cruise control, a world first for a motorcycle.

What makes Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) different from conventional Cruise Control (CC) is that it automatically adjusts your speed to maintain a constant distance from the car in front. That's all there is to it in words, but the impression it gives is truly "a new sensation! It's a new feeling! I even found myself shouting in my helmet.

Feels like there's another rider on the motorcycle!

A two-kilometre high-speed loop of the test track was used to experience the ACC, giving us the opportunity to ride alongside the cars and motorcycles in front of us. The car in front of me intentionally slowed down and accelerated repeatedly, but the Multistrada V4S tracked me perfectly.
