When I was 16, I got my moped license. Later, I obtained a medium-sized driver's license (now called a standard driver's license) and a large driver's license.

I have been riding motorcycles for 39 years. I have purchased a total of 46 motorcycles, ranging from mopeds to 1,300cc. There are so many that I can't write them all down, so I plan to post more about them soon.

It is easy to replace the stock exhaust with the side cover and seat removed.
It's not difficult to replace the exhaust pipes yourself. Let's get on with it.
The installation is almost complete. Degrease it well and put the heat cover on.
This coupler was removed from the stock exhaust pipe. If you turn on the ignition key before installing the new exhaust pipe, the ECU will detect a malfunction and the only way to remove the key is to have it removed by a Yamaha specialist.
The slip-on silencer of dB's comes with a catalytic converter as well, and you can feel the commitment to the product.

Apply a thin layer of heat resistant gasket to the inside of the silencer before installing it on the exhaust pipe.
Now it's ready. The slender and stylish shape cannot be imitated by any other manufacturer.
The sticker of SP Tadao and dB's is pasted to the side cover, and the modest sticker of dB's is pasted to the silencer body, and it is completion. It's really easy to drive. This is the best part of exhaust system customization.
The Serow 250 has a coupler added to the exhaust pipe after the 2018 model year, so it will not work with earlier exhaust pipes. There is no tube like thing in the so-called pipe, so it's nice and clear for me personally. The feeling after installation is completely different compared to OEM. A little bit of lagging in the low rpm range has been solved and it turns beautifully.
For the slip-on silencer, I chose the dB's, which is not very well known but is manufactured exclusively for Yamaha off-road vehicles. Not only is it JMCA certified, but the product is wonderfully made. I ordered and bought it directly from dB's because Webike has only one introduction, stainless steel slip-on silencer. It has a crisp sound and is quiet at idle, but when you rev it, it has a slightly low machine gun-like sound that is pleasant.
Of course, the power increase is also great and it rides comfortably even with a higher first gear. Furthermore, the exhaust port is designed to point slightly to the right, so there is no need to worry about melting the rear blinker. I am very happy with this kind of detailed support.
There are a lot of exhaust-related products on the market for Serow 250, but I recommend you to use the above combination. The exhaust pipes and silencers are a great match and the motorcycle is very comfortable to ride anywhere, from city traffic to high speed with no stress.
