Pick-up Review
Grip heater-compatible winter glove
Usage
The choice of winter gloves is difficult, especially when the grip heater is on. Ideally, the gloves should be slightly thinner in the palm area and slightly thicker on the back of the hand.
Of course, it is important that the gloves do not interfere with the operation, and it is also important that they protect the hands in the event of a fall.
This glove was selected among a variety of conditions.
The quality is very good, and the price is very reasonable compared to other manufacturers.
The leather texture is soft and does not interfere with riding.
Since these are motorcycle gloves, they are optimized for grip and do not poke your fingers.
Low-priced gloves sometimes have poor stitching between the interior and exterior, causing the interior to separate, but of course, this is not the case with Degner's gloves.
They are sewn securely from the ribbed wrist to the fingertips and can be put on and taken off without the contents being pulled off, even when sweaty.
For smartphone operation, however, the fingertip material used in recent Degner gloves is very good, and smartphone touch is possible without problems.
Winter gloves also have thicker fingertips, so flicking is difficult, but operating a smartphone navigation system, for example, is not so difficult.
The ribbed part of the wrist, which is important for winter gloves, is also made deeper, so there is no gap between the inner lining and the glove, which is perfect for protection from the cold. I was very comfortable on the highway with no wind getting in between the jacket and the gloves.
I usually use Degner's XL gloves because they are made a little tighter at the wrist, but this time I chose a 2XL.
However, the leather became softer and roomier as I used them, so I think XL would have been fine.
I consider them the best cost-performance winter gloves under 75 USD.
Made on the premise of a grip, there is no pinching even when gripped firmly.
A common problem for riders who use both grip heaters and winter gloves is that the higher the thermal performance of the gloves, the less benefit the grip heaters provide. The higher the performance of winter gloves, the more insulation they have, so the warmth of the grip heater is not transmitted to the rider.
This is an impression of a glove that solves such problems by daring to reduce the thermal performance of the palm side. Shoji has always been kind enough to post detailed impressions of his gloves, and this one is no different!
This one looks great! This was a great impression that really conveyed the fact that this glove looks good!
