I felt that the black painted wheels looked too heavy, so I introduced rim striping. I had a hard time deciding between the titanium color and the Delicorol blue color, but I decided to go with the dreicolore blue color because I thought it would be more compatible with the color of my Zephyr.
It may be because I did not use a rim gauge when pasting, but the 10mm overlapping dimension of the connection part as shown in the instruction manual resulted in a 30mm overlap at the last overlapping part, and I had to re-paste the rim. Without a rim gauge, it may have unintentionally pulled and stretched when pasting.
The color overlap part here is the colored part, so if you could make it overlap with the black part, the above problem would not be so much of a problem.
Rim striping has become a standard custom that can easily change the image of a vehicle. Many of you may be considering it as customization that you would like to do someday.
For such rim stripes, I think people usually choose a single color. Even those who want something a little different, like plating. Even though they know there is a dreicolore in the lineup, many of them are somewhat unsure of the finished product and, after much deliberation, choose a single color that will never fail.
But look at this picture of the fit. It looks good, it looks really good.
