[Usage]

The ZX-25R has clip-on handlebars with a slightly lower handlebar position and a forward-leaning posture. When I lean forward, my arms touch the tank when I shift my weight. I would like to reduce the forward lean, but I can't move my arms freely when I take a corner.

According to Over Racing's nominal value, it will increase 30mm including the adapter. I've replaced a lot of parts on my bikes, but this was my first time replacing the handlebar kit, and I was a little nervous to start replacing it because there was no detailed information available on the internet, but I actually didn't need any specialized skills.

When disassembling, the key unit is still attached to the top bridge. In other words, when disassembled, it is divided into three parts: the handlebars and the top bridge.

The tools you need are a 36mm socket, a handlebar, a hexagonal wrench, a Phillips screwdriver, and a 100-gauge rubber hammer. There is no need to pay attention to anything else except for curing the cowl and meter area.

The only thing you need to pay attention to is the handlebar position adjustment during temporary assembly. If you can adjust it correctly, there will be no interference even if you raise it +6mm.

I used an adapter to raise the position of the handlebars by +8mm to +30mm, but even though there is some interference, it is only touching the handlebars and there is no problem in use.

It's nice to know that the switch box is already drilled.

Zero discomfort and improved position.

It's important to increase the height, but the key to this kit is to be able to adjust the aperture and reduce the "tare angle"! When these three things are in place, the ease of riding will improve dramatically.

In particular, the tare angle has been reduced from 10 degrees to 5 degrees, which is the key to the development of this model so that the negatives associated with up-positioning do not appear. That's what you'd expect from OVER, and it's nice to know it's a bolt-on and you don't have to change the stock harness or hoses!
