SUZUKI GSX-S750 Review

We will introduce Oboro's passionate story about his riding experience with his beloved motorcycle, GSX-S750, from Webike community "My Beloved Moto" campaign. He shared with us about his review for the SUZUKI GSX-S750, including its advantages and disadvantages, which he knows well because he's the owner.

Oboro's Brief Self-introduction

・Motorcycle history and how I usually enjoy my motorcycle
When I was a college student, I obtained a regular motorcycle license after getting car license.
Ten years later, I obtained a large motorcycle license.
Commuting and touring until lived my own. Now just touring.

・How long I have been riding this motorcycle?
Since June 2020~

・motive for purchase
When I was looking to switch because I was getting bored with the previous bike and it was time for a yearly inspection & tire change, I found this nice used bike and immediately quoted and bought it.
The previous owner had a lot of equipment in place, so I was able to save on customization costs.

Satisfaction/Advantages

・For purpose
The comfortable riding position makes it possible to ride for a long time.

・For riding
The engine turns well and have nice sounds .
Acceleration is perfect.
I haven't revved it up to high rpm yet, but it doesn't seem to numb my hands because there's no weird vibrations when I'm riding normally.
It has a low RPM assist. If you are aware of it, you can certainly see a slight increase in RPMs. Don't be overconfident though.
The traction control is installed. So far I'm trying out various settings from OFF~3.

・For appearance
I like the shape of the tank. It might not be popular with people who wear tank bags.
Beautiful blue color. Although the current model is blue all over, I prefer the blue-black two-tone.
The front forks are also black on the current model, but I think the gold color is more appropriate.

Disadvantages

・For purpose
My feet are hot when I knee-grip. Especially right foot.
The bikes I've ridden haven't gotten that hot.
I didn't see that as a complaint in other people's reviews, but is that normal?
Was it hard for the bike to get hot in the past?

・For riding
Maybe I'm still getting used to it, but the seat doesn't feel right. It may be because the previous bike was separate handles , but I feel uncomfortable in the handlebar. I guess I got used to it.
When I thought it sounded good and revved the engine, it exceeded the legal speed in an instant. But is it better than a liter bike?

・For appearance
I wish the lamps were LED.
The blinkers and other things that make them look cheap. Well, it's actually cheaper than other companies.

Summary (Recommended for riders)

Apparently the 750 is not as popular as the GSX-S1000 because you can get a GSX-S1000 for a small difference.
I didn't think about the S1000 at all, as I'm not sure I'd be able to handle a liter bike even if I had one.
The middle class 750 is a good choice for me because it's easy to ride and has a decent engine.
