HRC and Pol Espargaro Agree on Contract to Join Repsol Honda

Honda Racing Co., Ltd. (HRC) is pleased to announce the signing of Pol Espargaró (29 years old, Spain), the 2013 Moto2 class champion of the FIM1 Road Racing World Championship, to a two-year contract starting in 2021, and that he will compete in the MotoGP class with the Repsol Honda Team as a rider of the works team2.

Pol Espargaro started his career in the 125cc class of the FIM Road Racing World Championship in 2006, moving up to the Moto2 class in 2011 and winning the championship there in 2013. 2014 saw him move up to the MotoGP class, where he has competed in 104 races.
