History up to here. RYUUJI TSURUTA

For the past year, I once again looked at my regime and strategy, and looking forward for a re-challenge day and might in order for me to win the World Endurance Championship Series since my goal from the beginning is to be a champion.

We have negotiations with each of the stakeholders across France, wherein two 24 Hour Endurance Races are held for Bol d'Or and Le Mans competition of EWC series. And, it was worth it, and this time, they were able to get a challenge again together with a wonderful partner (TATI TEAM) in France

This partner is a team based in Lyon, Beaujolais, France, who has won the series championship in the World Endurance Championship Series SST class this season. They have been participating in EWC since 2014, and it is a wonderful team that has emerged since the beginning of the competition.

The owner is Aptrick Enjolras, 63 year old, a former rider since TATI TEAM founded in 2004 and began to participate in a French Superbike Championship series, and has started participating in SST class of EWC since 2014.

Julien Enjolras, the eldest son of the owner, is an Ace rider and the chief mechanic which isin-charge of the second son, Batista Enjolras.

The team enhances its cohesiveness that made family as the center. The event itself is not eye-catching but we are doing activities that firmly understand the point. The result is leading to the title of the seson this year.

Their goal is to win the same EWC series champion like me.

Why did you form TATI TEAM and TAG?

While participating to 2016-17 series, I met many teams during the competition. Among them, their team was particularly noticeable. While participating in SST class, it also demonstrate performance to dig into the high rank even in the overall ranking. I conclude that winning the series title this season require spee and comprehensive power.

And, I give opportunities to share with them everytime we talk each other's dream and goals and I observed that our way of thinking and values are so close other than this year's Le Mans competition and race.

So I decided to participate in a race with them so that they will like to race.

Suggestion of RYUUJI TSURUTA

We TRICKSTAR Racing, has a full race in EWC World Endurance Road Race Championship Series of the previous series, but I could not get the good result as what I had imagined.

In Le Mans 24 Hour Endurance Race in 2013, I participated in the first single race as the all-Japanese team and finished in 9th place in the first race. In the 2016-2017 series, full participation in the wishful fulfillment came true, I was able to stand on the 3rd podium at the opening round of the Bol d'Or competition, and I ranked 10th place in the series ranking.

The last series was not the result we aimed at, but still we successfully fought out the series. I am planning to continue participating in this term continuously but marjority of European series warfare requires a huge amount of money it terms of cost, such as the transportation of luggage to Japan and European venues and the transportation expenses of the event personnel, and I realized again that it is very difficult these days.

As a result, I was suspended to participate the even in one year. However, I will not give up on the challenge. I want to accomplish more than of my goal even if I will fail once or twice.

In the past year, we are suspended to join the activities and we have work on it very hard for the preparation as we can possibly start again. What I am thinking now is that it is a wonderful race which is worth it to participate, and wanting to purely participate in EWC series full entry for myself rather than doing it for a purpose of mission or obligation. That is what I feel.

It wan to tressure the happiness I feel that I can challenge again. An I also need to challenge to make TRICKSTAR a world-class manufacturer.

Why EWC?

It is a wonderful race which allows the rider to aim for a series champion in a private race in the world, and to work with many people, share joy, regrets and pleasure.

Japan was in the bubble period when I was an active rider, and I set goals for oversea races, especially the World Grand Prix, and there was a chance as it was depending on my hard work.

Riders who can participate in the world's highest peak MotoGP are in difficult situations that most people in Japan aim for. It is of course backdrop to the background, but I think that the political side and the environment has changed.

The number of riders of the your generation who has high goal will not grow because of this situation, and the riders who are aiming for their dreams think of not being successful in reaching the top of the world, and I think that there are not only few people who are lost without self-motivation. Not only rider but also mechanics and the team are also in that situation.

But I'm thinking, it would be nice if there were wonderful races of the world to make it a great goal even if not forcing to MotoGP in the first place.Yes, I can say that my experience in one of the wonderful races should have a goal, it is the World Endurance Race Series.

EWC includes the Suzuka 8 hour endurance road race which is also popular in Japan, but 24 Hour Endurance race especially Le Mans and Bol d'Or did not know which team will win until the end of the race and there is a chance for a private team to will as well.

EWC is a world-class race and its events are widely distributed mainly to Euro Sports into 59 countries around the world, and we are transforming it as a major race. Everyone who are participating in this team enjoyed the race with all their heart, each and each team set a goal and challenge.

Unlike the Sprint race, teams are being gather together because it is an Endurance Race, and as a preaparetion for my goal throughout the year, I will watch the goal by praticing a pit work, and match each thought and power for the final goal. And, I am honored with the officers of the team whi have reached the goal, and sometimes I feel sorry and praise greatly. I realized that this figure is the essence of motor sports.

EWC gives a change from young riders to veteran rider to be active for a long time. From now on, our team will aim for the world's series champion but we would like to actively appoint Japanese riders to joint the event for those who want to stand out in Japan and aim to be the world's best rider.

Mortorcycle that represents technology wherein Japan is proud to represent worldwide is not disappointing unless those who control the product, not only the product, but also riders, mechanics and others who applies it within Japan or to the world increases rapidly isn't it?

I think, I will continue to take the challenge in order to stand out to the world as a Japanese.
